Another political blog... sorry

But I'll do you all a favour, I'll close the comment section. thumbs up lips

So a well known welsh oldtimer on here suggested I blogged why DT, the famous one
was a 'victim' of unfair treatment and all that and why I oppose the vilification and basically agree with him that it's all a big witch hunt to try bring him down and out of the way. Rite...

Now- here is the good news-
there is a few brainiacs who is not a typical rightie, deplorable
you-name-it loser from way out of america (me) who is so lost in time and space
he don't know what he is talking about this poor fella (me) -
no instead I am presenting to yous:
Mr. Jimmy Dore!
Guess where he comes from.... drumroll.... da left!
TYT (The Young Turks and all that..ring a bell?).
So now he is not only a stand up comedian but also a youtube personality.
This his full time job now. Yes those two. And he tend to bring in interesting guests as Joe Rogan do, often journalists; the real type I mean. More often he is analyzing and commenting on present day events as they unfold with his small regular studio crew.

So, instead of me telling you how crazy it all is over there- check this video out.
Here Jimmy Dore with his studio friends
lay out some of the main points of why the ones who run after Trump
simply is not trustworthy.
About 20 minutes, not the longest educational video you ever watched.

Language

Learning a language is a tough and challenging endeavor. In our family, most people can speak three languages, and some of my aunts can even speak four. I remember, during my language studies, encountering a student who could speak 15 languages, and his friend knew even more. I believe the government would greatly value individuals with such linguistic abilities.

While many women may wonder about a guy's earning potential when dating, my focus has always been on how many languages he speaks or how much vocabulary he can teach me. I think understanding the languages someone speaks is crucial to avoid misunderstandings in a relationship.

During my time studying Chinese in Taiwan, I immersed myself in the local culture, haggling like the locals and engaging in gossip . As of now, my proficiency in both German and Korean is at a low level.handshake hug

Just a thought

It saddens me that blogs aren't as active as they used to be. While some people still post, only a few interact, unlike the forums. Let's revive it and make it as lively as it was before.handshake wineIf you meet someone here, how long before you do a video call? I met my ex-husband here; we just emailed, and social media wasn't a thing in the past. Just wondering.

Summing Things Up.

Not precisely how I predicted, but bottom line is similar. The US has lost the war and Europe has no more fear of being invaded as was predicted by Biden and the clown in Cargo pants.
All the deaths on all sides totally unnecessary.

Cool Christmas gift...

Every year, I tell my family not to get me anything for Christmas. They all develop selective hearing loss and get me something. This year, I received a small and simple gift that I will often use.
It's called GUARD YOURID.
My trash goes in a community dumpster, boxes into recycle bins. If you are like me, You'll probably peel off the labels bearing your name and address. If you cannot remove the label, covering the information with a marking pen is the next option.

This device looks like a date stamper with a roller wheel on the bottom. What it does is roll over a band of black ink quickly creating a security block to the information you want to cover.

You need God,Good do not fight against good and evil do not fight against evil

Why unbelievers do not believe in God? God is Good and love.
They say God is not good, and so they find many reasons to not believe in God, they hate God.
Why? who give hate and doing against God? is the devil who is rebelled against God, so he mislead and deceive them.
So everybody need God, so don,t let to be late, and to go in hell to suffer so terribly.
But take bible and believe and obey God and you will be saved from sin and from evil.
Love God with all heart.., and love your neighbours as your self (love all people).
This if you do will lead you to be saved and lead you to eternal life.
So God is Good therefore he fight evil .
Evil do not fight evil and can,t do good !
So God do no evil, He is perfect and do good.
Evil do not do good, he is imperfect and do no good but do all evil and sin !
So come to God
God bless.

Advice for Trump

Forget about the 2024 Presidential elections, forget about making America great.

Even you can't fix what Biden has done to the US.

US government federal debt has breached an unflattering milestone, topping $34 trillion for the first time in history and amounting to more than double the total of the world’s next-biggest borrower, China.

The total US federal debt is roughly equivalent to the economies of China, Germany, Japan, India and the UK combined, as pointed out by the Peter G. Peterson Foundation, a nonpartisan fiscal policy group in New York.

Not the way I wanted the new year to begin

Once again, I didn't listen to the "little voice in my head", which told me to prepare individual presents for my workmates. I didn't do this, as I think making it individual is too personal, and I do this only for friends and family.

My last night at work before Christmas, was the 17 December. I like the team I'm working with, so same as the year before, I prepared a "thank you present" this time a crate of 5 kg clementine and about 1.5 kg small chocolates for the whole team. I bought all this with my own money.

The muslim guy working the evening shift said he doesn't eat sweets, but took a few clementine before leaving, that was ok. I told him that the present was for everyone. On the morning of 18/12, before going home, I presented the present to the morning staff... people who I've been working with for almost 2 years. They were happy and thanked me.

I returned to work on the 26, and everything was gone, even the presents we got from the families of the people we take care of. Last year, there was still some available, even until the new year.

On Monday night, first night in the new year, one of my workmates for almost 2 years, who is also one of the women who received the Xmas gift, told me that on the morning of the 19/12, there was nothing left of my present to them, but 2 others had had their boxes filled with clementines.

Tuesday morning, before leaving work, I asked another long time workmate, if she had gotten anything from the present, she replied "no", but 2 others were eating lots of clementines on the days after I had left the present.

This pi$$ed me off, made me upset and very, very angry, to the point that, not even listening to a book on the way home (I usually do this to and from work) calmed me down. I had breakfast, showered, went to bed, but couldn't sleep, I was crying, I kept thinking of what those 2 young muslim men had done. As they were working yesterday afternoon, I felt like instead of sleeping, I'd go back to work and confront about their behaviour.

Not wanting to cause problems, as I know I would have done, being as angry as I was (If i cry when I'm angry, it means I've reached, or am almost to "the point of no return"). I called and talked to one of my bosses, who calmed me down and I was able to sleep, but she said when I talk to the 2 men, to do it in a calm way, and say it wasn't nice of them, to do what they had done.

Some days before Xmas, I was talking to those 2 men and they said they don't celebrate Xmas, as it isn't part of their religion or culture.

My point with this blog is, why the hell did they eat and or even take home all of what I had left as a Xmas present for everyone...9 including then both. I've been working with the team for almost 2 years, 1 of those men started working with us 4, the other 2 months ago, which is also the same amount if time they've been working in the nursing home.... You don't celebrate Xmas, but your should still have something called a conscience, and respect for others and their cultures.

I'm not sure if I'll see them the 2 nights I'm working next week, but 1 thing is for sure, even if I'm off duty when they're working, I'm going to go to work and have a serious conversation with them about this. Not only that, I'l tell then that before their ramadan begins, they have to buy a big cake for the team. I'm not going to threaten them, just say it in a nice friendly way, whilst hiding the "poison" behind my smiles.

My GPS...

There are times when I think my GPS is working against me. Let's say I'm going to an appointment a few cities from me. I'll input the address and the GPS will calculate the distance, route, travel time and expected arrival time. That sounds good so far... This is what a GPS is supposed to do.
Usually, if there is an accident or delaying conditions, my GPS will notify me and usually sometimes offer a detour or 2nd route around the trouble.
Most times, I can guess the travel time to any new appointments and leave earlier than what the GPS has calculated, because it's important to arrive before a meeting, rather than late to one.
I don't do the speed limit. I'm not excessive, but 5 miles per hour over the posted limit is my normal. Unless, I'm in a zone that's a speed trap, 5mph more seems to be what most of the traffic around me will do.
What I don't understand about my GPS is when I'm in the express lane of the highway doing more than 20 miles per hour over the posted limit and I'm 'cranking it' for nearly half the way to my destination, with no delays or slow traffic holding me up... do I show up several minutes past the time it told me at the beginning of the trip.
very mad

It defaults to fastest route and there are times my GPS recommends a back road that takes me into a 30mph area and also a 20mph school zone. No, no, no, I'm taking the highway.

The GPS app is resident to my Android phone and I'm told Google updates on a regular basis which is different to the GPS in my car, so I use the cellphone GPS and the car GPS only for map functions and to alert me of posted speed zones.

Wouldn't you expect the GPS... any GPS to calculate duration based on posted speed limits and not what chatillion thinks he can get away with? Yeah, I didn't think so!
