d_simple we are trying to help you but you are blind and cant see.
Why dont you take some time off and study history, freedom and human rights so maybe one day you could help your country instead of contributing to destroying it?

d_simple: no one say he is innocent but that the best way to remove him is not sending innocent Libyans to use them in testing the anger of Gaddafi.

so what you are saying, is that the protests are set up by others ?

am i correct in my assumption?

i still would like to see the man gone

but i can understand your concerns

it could be what you say is correct, but until it comes out is just speculative unless you have some information on it.

but yes, the fear you have for your fellow africans is indeed justified hug

withe you on the one Emmaline just think mandatory voting like they have in Australia should be enforced people died for the right to fight in bloody conflicts and the sufregetes in th Uk we could always have an option of none of the above though they will probaly get electedprofessor

Youn Africans don't trust anyone over 30 years old. (Where have I heard that before?) grin

I think you may be right, most of the people in Libya are young, the demographics...

I'm hearing more and more about how some of the local tribes are lead by men who are not at all pro-western in their thinking. I am worried about a M/B type Islamic theocracy taking root instead of a western styled democracy. Not that it's my decision.

yes i also want to see a different government in Libya who can start from where Gaddafi stopped in a more modernized way not by forcing Gaddafi to kill them in order for them to have so much to say about him and allow the western leaders the opportunity to send him to Hague.

voting in Europe and US maybe a way to choose good leader but not in Africa, votes is just formality cos who ever will win in any African poll is already been selected in a secret confraternity meetings before the real voting day.
Problem usually occurs when the position or a man in lesser cult suddenly wins. Just like what happen in Kenya, Zimbabwe and now in Ivory Coast. It has happens repeatedly in all Africa but have never seen election disagreement or crisis in the US and EUROPE.
elections results in the EUROPE or US is just a matter of hours to declare winner but Africa takes months and finally war.
