gininitaly: Actually we did exactly that for 8 yrs, where have you been living the last 30 yrs or so? Do you honestly believe those 'ideals' apply today? Our 'democracy' has also turned into a dictatorship... which is why d_simple makes fun of the word, because he's seen how the 'ideal' can be twisted to fit many different concepts of rule, that have nothing to do with a real democracy.
d_simple d_simple delhi IndiaWell the thing is we had no control over the situation in Libya, his people chose to take this route, it was obviously not in our best interests to do so.. as we were fine with the situation for 42 yrs right?
It is unfolding whether the Libyans are lazy or not, whether Mubarak was the lesser of other evils or not... it's happening now and a it's a little late to be analyzing Mubaraks good or bad points because the dice have already been thrown.
