Im damn sure ide be a lot happier if I didnt have to work so hard Ide have to say to some extent yes money does buy happiness, I know if I am down abit of retail tertapy goes a long way , as does having a massage , going away for a weekend of pampering al of which cost money

That's true. Money is only an ENABLER, it enables you to buy things that you think you needs, but most often it turns out to be the wrong ones. What happiness is really from is from INSIDE you, no matter how poor or rich you are.

That's why I dont' go for fancy cars and fancy clothes and fancy hairdo. I ain't so VAIN, whoopeedo! Eh. (sighs)... yeah, too many women still thinks all this makes them happy, and they becomes surprised when it doesn't. Poor saps!

Material things are not a solution for unhappiness no, but what about if a family member was in dire straits financially and you could help them out for instance ..

That would make me happy drinking
