Send boat people back.
Cut aid to other countries consierably ( we have been sending aid for enough time now that they should have been able to set up their own infrastructure ).

Raise GST to 15% and abolish income tax.
Cut fuel excise in half.

Manage governemt better by reducing the amount of politicians , as we are extrelmely overgoverned.

get training in spelling properly.

More training avaialabilities for the unemployed.
Fix the healthcare system.
Fix the education system ( its not too bad , but not as bad as hospitals )

Change the laws for vehicle users ( the hoon laws are a joke , as is the speeding laws and drink driving laws.

I could keep going , but i'll stop here...

Lok out.

firstly vote in Bill and Ben the flowerpot men, or maybe one of the 11 year olds

- get rid of the silly councils and their silly council laws
- state polies
- federal polies

(I like your idea of dropping them off into the ocean Serene wearing concrete boots.. however, the prawns are very fussy eaters!!!laugh

Then sit back and let them do what Lok has suggested....

Once again the budget has not offerred any relief for single people... I dont mean mothers or dads with children, I mean just single.. very mad and working. I mean.. give us a break ... its hard paying the bills and trying to upkeep a house on one wage... doh

laugh Pipe dream... laugh

But on a serious note... why they did not up the retired pension is beyond me...

If they are serious about creating more jobs.. all they need to do is up the pension to a affordable living level, and all those people who are in their 70's and 80's may give up their jobs, allowing for more jobs to be available to those who are searching... and those who are about to be forced to search...

I am continually coming upon workers of those age groups who are still working full time.. clearly because they may as well earn the money than doing the job as a volunteer.

Having spent a considerable time this morning reading the many "benefits and outcomes" of the budget while I had my morning coffee, I realised that the early bit is that I am $597 worse off (with getting $3 "Vote for Meeeeee" for the Carbon Tax cheering yay banana )

But the Govt is very much willing to help us smokers give up for the "health benefits" by cutting our duty free travel quota from 250 cigarettes to 50.

As an aside, it will bring in another $600 million in taxes in taxes each year banana Never realised how much us smokers pay in tax when trying to get 600 ciggies through customs. I keep forgetting how well off we are to be able to afford overseas travel each year. Can we claim smoking as a deduction after having already paid an exhorbitant tax already?

That's easy sack half the pollys. Plus pay cuts from the prime minister down the line.

Start taking better care of the aged and more money for hospitals and school funding.

OH! and cut out gov tax on buying of homes put it back into the hard working Aussies hands thumbs up

It's a fricken joke the age we have to work to now mumbling

Back when my mum was my age, she and all her pals were doing nice little ladies volunteer jobs and pottering around in their gardens, not working full-time, let alone another 10+ years of it to look forward to doh
