One day my sister took me and my brother to an Amusement Park. I'm not 100% sure which one but I think it was "Playland" at Rockaway Beach in Queens NYC. I was about 8, my brother was 10 and my sister was 14. We had enough money for rides and Cotton Candy etc and subway fare home but my sister wasn't very good at budgeting and we wound up spending all of it on goodies. So, here we are far from home with no money for the train and no way to call for help. I was scared and depressed I thought I would wind up stuck in a strange place sleeping on the beach. We thought about sneaking through the turnstile but my sister poo poo'd that idea. She said let's go to the man at the subway station and beg him to let us on the train for free. As we were walking through the station I was just moping along with my head down looking at the floor when right in front of me was a crisp dollar bill. I stooped down and snapped it off the floor and let out a yell "LOOK WHAT I FOUND!" My sister and brother both hugged me and I felt like a hero.

Do you have memories from ages ago? We all probably do.

wave I have many memories of childhood. 1 in particular was my father taking me to the planetarium in Natural History Museum. I was 8 and had just got a telescope, that month I was into astronomy). I was in awe looking at the fake night sky on ceiling. Picked out the big dipper. Always time with Dad was good .thumbs up

I grew up on a farm and it is a great place to grow up. My parents were both around when we came from school and we had all of our meals together, but they worked 7 days so we never went away on holidays.

Going on day trips was always very special. My brother is a history buff and there was an exhibition in the museum in Cologne about Tutankhamun. First time of little kid being in a big city, I found the museum fascinating and was delighted to get on top of it a LP of "Hui Buh" the castle ghost.

Family time is still precious and we all love to come together, just sitting down, catching up and laughing. conversing

I thought and thought......and thought and this is the most best memorys that I have got from my younger age.

1) I have a video of it.
2) most of all my friends regrouped in one bunch
3) it was a fantastic prank

A friend of mine was waiting for his military recall, and he was so exited cause he was going to do his military service in the carabinieri ( military police -thx to some known people ). One of my friends knew how to draw fantasticly well, so he copied another recall letter changing the name ...and the personal info. It was spot on!! Then we posted it ,to his house
Watch the guy's face how he was stunt .. just for your info the second letter it's a fotocopie

LOL

And I did a pole about it but I don't think it went well, I'm the one with the grey raincoat skratching himself. It was the time that I played football semiprophessionaly and one game I broke my shoulder. I didn't want to go because my shoulder still hurted me, but my best friend begged me to go to do the prank. I don't know why it itched me so much

laugh

I remember after the last day of school we ambushed one of the year bullies on the football pitch, stripped him naked and dipped his nuts into a tin of cyan ink. And he's been known as Blueballs ever since.

Obviously I had already buried the heinous things that happened to me just a few years previously.
