When I moved to Southern California I stayed on a ranch in the San Bernardino Mountains owned by a millionaire who used to own the Taco Bells all over the U.S.He and his wife were the nicest people.
While on the ranch one of the guys neighbors hired my late husband to do some computer work for them.On that persons desk there laid several piles of money that had counted out to donate to a charity.She also offered us something to eat and drink.She also did all her own housecleaning and cooking.It's not that she couldn't had afforded the help she preferred to do her own housework.

the ones I have known are extremely organized. Frugal, but benevolent with necessities. If working, their week is usually about 50 or 55 hours. They do not loiter anywhere; everything appears to have a purpose.------ This thread is Archived ------

Oh i know a billionaire, and two weeks ago her brother froze her bank account, that is linked to a trust. I have not spoken to her in three years, and she phoned me out of the blue asking if i could lend her £10,000. I thought she had lost it, and thought it was a step too far for my friendship. I simply couldn't believe she had the nerve to ask me, it was like it wasn't a big deal to her, but i was offended she had the cheek to ask.

in business a million is not "squat"
my goal was to reach a half million of
hard assets have not got there yet
but what I try to invest in are hard assets
not fantasy markets... there are honest
wealthy people out there... but I will
tell you there is the t' nouveau riche who
only have the income to pay their debts..
then there is conservative old money
liberal old money...
all the way up to the uber elites
bottom line? only those who worship power and money
are evil and what I consider the lucy's those are the
folks with lineage that goes back century's.
