No, Serene, how can it be deceptive? more like change and adaptability. You heard of the chameleon? what for does it have to be so? For survival Serene. I am stepping into a world where everything doesn't look what it seems. But let the excitement begins.

Where as John Galt, was just a lowly observer yet the machine that changed the world. Ignorant like the ripper has to dig deep on this one..

I shopped a lot at Myers and ate at the Opera, Serene. I recommend you to go and dine on Saturday at The opera, on Saturday. On the second floor of Intercontinental in Sydney. To die for.

Let me know. Love you mud crab. We don't have that here in my country. Miss the Barramundi, too.

Well I am not sure about such a term but I can tell you, truly a delight.

The truest love of my life was from NSW, and yes lived like a diva for two years and would never be ungrateful to those memories..Met him at the Poetry Corner and most endearing adventure. The most adventurous I have evr been. I traveled the world, but not quite like this from your place. The epitome of a real paradise. I have learned more about life in those years than any other time of my life. To slow down, smell the roses and simply appreciate all that we have. A most humble and respectful way to express gratitude to what we call, life. A gift from whom we give credit to. I call Him, God. And, spirits like you substantiate the fact that everything we have is a gift... If you've been through what I have, where three specialist sentence you to die after 90days, you become most the core of a positive energy and learn. Be mindful of others. Read Desiderata.. It waters up your eyes.

He accompanied me on all my struggles and saw me through and his spirit never leaves me far... although he is now in a better hand, I will always be grateful.

Sorry about this confession, but he does read this, I am sure.

For you

Go placidly amid the noise and haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence.
As far as possible without surrender be on good terms with all persons.
Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even the dull and ignorant; they too have their story.
Avoid loud and aggressive persons, they are vexations to the spirit.
If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain and bitter;
for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.

Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.
Keep interested in your career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.
Exercise caution in your business affairs; for the world is full of trickery.
But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals;
and everywhere life is full of heroism.

Be yourself.
Especially, do not feign affection.
Neither be critical about love; for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment it is as perennial as the grass.

Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth.
Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with imaginings.
Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness. Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself.

You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars;
you have a right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.

Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be,
and whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life keep peace with your soul.
With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy.

I am overcome with humility and gratefulness Serene. And yes discovering who we are, deep down, we are a child of this mysterious world. No more no less than anybody else, we came naked and so must we be when we return. So why squander our limited time to pettiness when life is so grand. Out there are 80 percent of this world that can't even fill their empty stomach and here we are so judgmental of other's weaknesses and strength?

Tears are truly clouding up my eyes..If you lifted me up, so will the rest pulling me down. But that's why we have to avoid loud and aggressive persons, for they are truly the poison of the soul.

I have long encountered the likes of jack the ripper, but I avoided her. Thinks the first time ever that I stepped out of my inner self, compounded by some drama on the blogs, but yes sometimes it is empowering to stand to the face of these bullies and show them what is a true heroic conviction is...

Thanks Serene, my pleasure to know your acquaintance.

lindsyjones: What is to like and not?

In a world so racially charged and so torn on religious differences, as in the beginning of time, perhaps a woman's touch is the answer?

Note: I am specifically directing this topic to my country.

But your opinions are all appreciated, in opposition or not.

Some like to lead some like to be lead and some are lead astray are the ones that like to just fit in and be accepted not really realising what they may be getting into,

Good leaders are ones that guide with the interests of people at heart and have good intention to benifit their well being,

Parents are looked upon as leaders to be responsible for our children and guide and protect while in our care,,to teach them to stand on their own two feet with a conviction to believe in themselves as to make their own decisions and be aware that with every action is a reaction and consequences to whatever action we may take,

This is what a good leader does,

Lots of men and women throug out history good and bad leaders ,

Lois 14 th of France wasnt a good leader he had no concept of what a good leader should be and didnt have the mindset,

His wife Marie antonette would often be the one to try encourage him to be more confident in himself ,,she didnt make that statement ,

'Let them eat cake ' she had more insight into why there was unrest among the ordinary people of France,

Poor Louis was rather disalusuioned about it,

blues ,

And he was so naive ,,

And off with their heads ,,,poor Louis knew no better than the way he was,his wife was more smarter she would have been better than him at leading,

laugh

No I'm not misinformed, I lived there during her time, I am, after all, British. The country was in a terrible state when she came to power, Callaghan had destroyed our economy, she turned it around, she fought and won huge concessions from the EU, all lost by B Lair. She stood up to the blackmail of the unions and succeeded to calm them down, had the British population been so against her as you suggest, why did she win 4 yes 4 elections, something no other 20th century politician has ever done?
The misinformation spread about her is appalling in my opinion, yet B Lair gets away with lying to our parliment, the country and the world. Criticize Thatcher by all means, but don't write untruths !
