I knew that l had done well by making this my first ever thread and l am pleased to say it has worked well, more than 80 people read the thread, maybe saw the link too, only 3 posted. Most importantly the religious people that normally post on here about "praying for my Auntie Lily" have decided that its better say nothing, my thoughts that deep down they all know that their religion does more harm than good.

When faced with truth all religious people back down, l know them well and my original papers regarding what religious people owe my companies is always available for anyone to see.

Let this be the last time that one of them vomits religion here and how good it is for others. Possibly surprising is that not one of them has posted "not all 5 fingers are the same" and all the other crap they spurt but until you find a good one then all are the same.

The Christian ethics of doubt, humility and being ever-mindful of how wrong you might be are atheistic, when encountering science the Christian soul became atheist because of what the bible teaches about character.

80% of today's Christians ignore what the bible says about character and it's about self-significance in the modern world, identity and very often their revenge and wrath(Rapture etc). Of course it's massive egotism and in politics most Christians in the educated west are allied with the atheists who also espouse massive egotism and openly and fiercely attack anything even resembling Christ a bit. The imitation of Christ is almost exclusive to atheists and liberals in the modern day.

And these are not really atheist. Satanists are not atheist. No, but in place f god there will be a different big other be it "evolution" or "the market" with a list of laws and commandments. It's a scientific/rational-sounding ego fanaticism where "god" takes on the old testament character concealed in modern "atheist" language.

Basically Capitalism is satanic which isn't to say it's wrong only in no way is it justified by Christianity. Christianity may be the soothing voice which makes one tolerate Capitalism, but in no way can Christianity be an authentic supporter of Capitalism.

And likewise the WWJD Christians seldom do what Jesus would do, less than anybody they do what Jesus would do. And this is why WWJD Christians are politically in bed with the satanists outlined above.

mmm, it was a barking-mad irish religious lunatic that said he was praying for my "soul" haha! ...just before reporting one of my more adventurous threads, which was, alas, promptly zapped into oblivion.

Bad "sinful" people or governments generally are ONLY forced to account for their corruption & evil acts, after very brave people risk all and approach the media to expose them ...journalism is a dangerous career choice.

Considering that last week 2,000 spanish policemen tried to beat the people of Catalonia into submission & this week their armed forces are surrounding Catalonia ...it seems likely the 2nd bloody fascist Spanish Civil War is about to kick-off ...demonstrating once & for all that the emergence of humanity from the evolutionary soup was a catastrophe for this planet, which was a fabulous vibrant paradise ...until you came along !!

Swami: Reality has two aspects. That we know and that we do not know.
What we know is demonstrated by science. What we do not know, the uncertain, opens many doors to our mind. You may feel fear, or not. We need to manage this because this is the source of stress.
Some people do not find their own tool to manage the unknown and they will live a life full of fear and conflicts.
For this people religion developed a tool. Is called hope. And the belief in a better life.
Today psychology have tools too.

Religion may have two efects. May kill people intelligence, or may sharp it.
Repetition may calm people ... but also create a false feeling of security .... people may "sleep" in their mind.

When religion becomes an ideology then intelligence will be killed. But when religion is combined with science then sharps the mind and people become more intelligent, more prepared, adapted ... and fear remains behind.
Science and religion have to work together ....

Buddhism is a prime example of where a religion and science work together. Quantum physics confirms many Buddhist teachings, in fact Buddhism is sometimes referred to as science of the mind.

It depends how you define religion. In the East religion is generally looked upon as a philosophy, but I have put this question to many Buddhist monks and teachers, the answer has always been the same...it's a religion, and some have added, but religion is only a word.

Buddhism does not recognise the existence of the soul, or the self for that matter.

I don't think you'll see the soul mentioned in quantum physics .
Not sure how to post a link on here from my phone, but try googling quantum physics and Buddhism, you might be surprised.
