Hi, I'm Chris, living in Dirtball Colorado USA. It's a great place. You can become a millionaire easily here.
Just bring two or three and get out while you still can.
I've been lurking and recently decided I like the kinda twisted flavor of this place. It looks like a good place to meet some friends and new enemies too. And I see it's an opportunity to keep the humor level up. I'm not exactly thin-skinned, so I oughta be able to go a few rounds.

Here at CS we have a custom, where newcomers must write a 1500 word essay about their lawnmower.
Since we have only a three month season for using, I can do fewer, right? Summer is short. It snowed here this week. This is mud season. It's hard to mow snow and mud. I have to make the most of summer when here, so I favor a native garden.
I believe in areas of snow, mowing is not really required. However, there are various snow-removing machines and Zamboni's and whatnot associated with snow. So I'm not seeing any justification for a reduction in the word count. If anything it should be more.

OK, I will accept that. Add these to the count. You are counting, right?
Funny thing about snow. Unless you are maniacal and AR, you don't really have to do anything about it. If you are patient, it goes away on its own.
It also has its pleasures. Skiing, snow machines (BRAAAP), you name it. It makes the mountains better, because the whiners are elsewhere hiding inside.
I used my snowblower once this year, and it was only to clear a path to my truck. There was only one storm that dumped a meter of the white stuff.
So keep that global warming stuff up, kiddies. These moving electrons are no doubt contributing, and now I am adding to meet my required entry creds.

Hey, welcome to the forums. you fly your plane any higher and you'll be in competition with NASA.
My bro, his sugar-mommy and their twelve quarter-horses are living a good ranch life in Parker, Co. beautiful, but Winter Park is my favorite spot out there.

So here are some more words in fulfillment of my admission requirement. You are still counting, right?
The lawnmower which I brought home, foolishly thinking winter was over, is now covered with snow. I doubt if it would even start. Foolish me. It's not June 1.
Being lazy, the winter clothes are still handy. Never put them away until August is my rule.
The snowstorm predicted for the first week of June will be proclaimed the first snow of winter. So we can start waxing our skis in preparation. A day or two later, we can make an effort to start that sleepy lawnmower.

Make plenty of enemies on CS simply by having a sense of humour, it irritates the older folk more
