loulou77: Since British Columbia wine producers changed the grape vines...we have some decent wines now...out in the Okanagan region of BC...one particular grower won a silver metal...not sure about other regions in Canada...but BC has finally gotten good at wine growing...
"Pinot Grigio is one of the fastest growing white wines... It has a clean, crisp, fresh nature that works well as an aperitif or as a companion to a wide range of dishes from seafood and chicken.
I have never tried that variety.
I do like whites but from Germany, perhaps I should move there but I like also... Reds, they are ok here and some others from Sudamerica.

Nice talking to you Lou , dinner time
Pinot Grigio is a nice white table wine and it can stand alone also . It is very popular now and not too expensive . I do however still search for Chateau Vioette white Bordeau . I can't seem to find it anywhere . It was literally the best thing in wine I ever tasted . Too bad all I have now is a memory . . .

galrads: Does president Trump have to do everything in his first 200 days of his first of three terms?
apparently....today at work someone was calling him a bully because he is trying to get things done. How sad that when someone is actually productive we do not know how to react. lol
You don;t have to agree with him on everything, and i DO NOT, but we gotta give him an A++ for effort. I really hope his overseas trip goes well. I really admire how seriously he takes the job of U.S. President. That alone is a nice change......I bet he is quite likeable one on one

It would be good for him to do what he has promised to his supporters and better do it before the houses change because he might not have them in his favor as it is now still.
Although, I bet you that he will not do anything to put Hillary in jail to start with.

ooby_dooby: I've been making wine for decades. Always reds, cabernet sauvignon, Sangiovese from Italy, Merlot, etc.
Are they good quality? i would guess they are since they are artisan wine. I would not dare to make them, I do preserve/prepare some fruits and vegetables though. Next week I will make "wild" apricot jam-mermelade (low sugar).
Yesterday I made some yogurt and I will make a natural-strawberry-yogurt gelatin.
You both have a knack of complaining about how deplorable we are because if intentional miswritings. Yes. .you both are very properly educated, very English professional writer and because of our deficiency in writing and lacking to put perspective as merely an opinion, making us shamefully labeling a poster, to be miserable, make us unworthy of your respect.
Good, we're deplorable alright.
I cannot be held responsible for your inability to read and understand the English language, I have not attacked anyone, I voiced an opinion and never mentioned any specific member of CS.
I have never called a person deplorable, I have used the word correctly as an adjective to describe my opinion.
I did not single out any specific person, unlike those who constantly attack a NAMED poster rather than the actual post.
For example, directly replying to a poster and calling them "miserable". Instead of realising that poster has the right to support anyone he/she wishes, is a personal attack. Can you really not see the difference Madam Professor?

2intrigued: I suspect that he's gonna need all the money he can get when he's out of a job and has lost all credibility.
People that have a natural gift of living out of other people's work will always find people to whom suck their blood besides, he might have a reality show, for reality
I must tell you that politics here is also hilarious and full of manure
crayons: since all y'all anarchist hippy provocateurs like to drink so much; ya'll might try sippin on a Molotov Cocktail
Molotov Cocktail made in Saudi Arabia no doubt, mainly because Trumpy is about to rubber stamp a US$110 billion dollar arms deal, so all they'll need to do is cover up with nice black burka

reb56: DC was swamp land at 1st,so the term the swamp.
The torch on the indian on top of the capitol has 0,0 coordinates and the entire city is laid out on the grid system. Only a small portion of D.C. is actually under sea level and most of it is not a swamp. However the Repubs do often have sewer backups and they use the stuff for their drinking water.
