The president's team asked Trump lawyers ways to cut Russia investigation /conflicts of interest issues, but there is nothing to pardon, zero evidence, no Russian collusion. .. of course more fake news!
Why can't the mainstream media talk about the eleven billion US dollars, huge expenses of Michelle Obama as a first lady. She used tax payers ' money for luxury vacations, buying and renting yachts, expensive drinks, cigarettes, accessories for her and guests, paying salary for her mother while she lived in the White House, with gardeners, dog walkers & care takers, aides, etc. The amount she spent was really shocking that there should be an investigative report on this matter. The amount could have been used to build hospitals and government houses for the homeless. Why should this be allowed or pardoned? So many crimes and corruptions overlooked by inventing delusional crimes of Trump!!
Or what about the unsolved death of Seth Rich who leaked DNC crimes to Wikileaks? There were so many murdered witnesses against the Clintons and Demoncrats!

This is indeed the strangest US governance I have ever witnessed. His lack-lustre ratings with his Apprentice TV show - he has more than made up for it! The main question should not be " can he actually do this " but rather why would he ask this question in the first place .What does he know that would require a response like this ? If he is innocent as he claims he is then why not push the investigation to uncover his innocence . He could then grandstand the fact he was right all along . I just can't seem to think that this is the actions of an innocent man !While we are on the subject of " not too bright activity ", I often wonder why the right presents and runs really dumb candidates . G.W.Bush was so dumb he couldn't hardly talk meaningfully . Now we have this braggart who says that everything he does will be the best ever . With a broad brush I'll bet that Trump voters are not very good at picking up on social cues or reading peoples emotions; charisma has the greatest affect on people who have none. And that's a broader problem in today's society undermining everything from democracy to marriage - people expect to be far more entertained than they will ever be entertaining and life becomes like a game; a roleplay taken too seriously.
How does this explain the 20-25 % of Sanders supporters who well and truly understood Hillarys social cues and read her emotions correctly . Trump will last through his 4 years, unless he resigns. He is a GOP president, with a GOP Congress and a GOP Supreme Court. There is no possible way he will be impeached.

This is exactly what a guilty person would be wondering about when he feels the jig may be up and he may be close to finally having to face the music. He probably is fearful that the forces aligned against him are getting too close to taking him down and he's looking for any way out he can find.
The irony is he hasn't even been formally charged with anything requiring a pardon but the workings of a guilty mind is obvious.
