positive_vibes: Women..Take note and try to keep a still tongue..
From my experience, during a discussion, a woman may have an opinion about something and somehow that opinion suddenly becomes a fact and then she is unwilling to see the other point-of -view of her partner. So i stop talking and say, well, what's the use...communication breaks down.....it would be so much better if she can keep an open mind, and be more willing to listen to what i have to say....

Perhaps your talking crap and she wont listen,,,,,
Don't contradict whatever you've just said with your next sentence.
Reality exists independent of your imagination and perception. Life is more than how you choose to feel about it, truth is more than what you decide it to be. Life is not a dream; water is wet, rock is hard, and the hungry and suffering of the world still exist when you close your eyes.

Or perhaps you are talking crap and she LISTENS and files it away in that memory bank! Okay Tip #1 gals - fight in the moment....unless it TRULY is worthy of holding a grudge over! Men are far more prone to fight, forgive and forget in most cases (but not all.) Most fights I have been are related to the "moment", and I am hard-pressed to call up the past as a reason. Although not specifically gender-based, I do find that women are more prone to pulling up the past as a defensive and often offensive strategy.
