Families are loyal to the country of their birth. If an "alien" enters America, and they want to be protected and under all the laws, then they need to change their allegiance!
I am an American living abroad. My kids are not subject to Latvian laws regarding education and whatnot. We maintain our American nationality and have legal residency status. But, some of the Latvian laws do not apply to us -- because we pledge allegiance to America.

My Italian citizenship is by right of blood through my paternal grandfather who immigrated here 100 years ago but he was WithOut Papers (a WOP)until 1939. So let's get the facts straight, at no time has the Democrat party suggested or ever wanted an open border policy, they have suggested that building a wall will be ineffective and costly, money that could be used for far better purposes, just because Trump has continuously lied saying they want open borders does not make it true or a fact.
