Another gray rainy day here. For the past month or so, I've noticed that almost every weekend, it rains. Usually this wouldn't "bother me", but after a busy week, I like to relax, get out and do something fun, but no….it's rain again. My apartment is on the 4th floor, one of the windows is open, I can feel the cold from outside and hear the wind howling, which means it's not exactly inviting weather to be outside, so today, I'll just stay at home, do my household chores, play games on my phone or watch movies. . What do you do on such days (especially when you're single)?

Hi Bajangal wave

It has been raining almost daily here for the past few months.

I love the rain. It brings the temperature down.

I’m not an outdoorsy person therefore the rain doesn’t not hamper any of my daily activities at all.

It seems we all are having rainy days, ours are very cold and windy.

I am an avid reader so go through many books in Winter.

I do book folding too, make the books i read into figures, look it up on u-tube it shows how to do many things and easy peezy.

I still go walking along the river the changing seasons are great if you dress for weather.

Of course a time spent chatting on cs is good too.

wishing you well from England

Generally the same things I do when it isn't laugh

I never really allow weather to change what I am doing. Just wear waterproofs and go out and enjoy it.

Stop howling wind entering your apartment through an open window by simply closing it. I hope my advice helps you have a warmer weekendhandshake

Bnaughty: It's not the howling wind and cold inside, I'm tucked under a blanket. It would be nice to once again go out and have a walk around town or somewhere, without having to get wet. I love when it's cold, especially in winter when there's lots of snow.laugh

Depends on the sort of rain: if it's raining for hours as if someone opened a shower or wind is so strong, that precipitations are flowing parallelly to the surface of the planet and only Molly's roaming streets there in her waterproofs... then I prefer to stay in: catch up on sleep and correspondence, do more Qigong and stretching, read and occasionally do something marginal for my household.

If it's not so dramatic, then I go out: you need all daylight here that's possible to get in order to survive winter.

Tulefell: It's been raining here since yesterday afternoon, fell asleep hearing the rain and howling wind, woke up to the same. Yes, we need the daylight….free vitamin D, as I say to my students, but not today. I see it's also raining in Göteborg.

I'm not in Göteborg right now: I always try to have 2 weeks sun holiday this time of year. Makes winter slightly shorter :)
