Not on my island.
Natural beauty abounds in my world.
Every year people who moved here, move back to places that have all the amenities...
But not before they complain enough to get our home, to look more like California every year; and our mom and pop store local economy, is turning into a corporate wonderland, where people are lucky to work for minimum wage, in one of the most expensive places on earth.
The people who didn't buy their land when it was only a few grand, are becoming homeless as our rents are rising. Even people who own their land, are having a hard time taking care of their families, and moving to horrible places like, Lost Wages, trying to find jobs.
I wish they'd take the new shopping centers, mall, and Wal Mart with em.

Once a year we have a block party.
Downtown gets blocked off; and four stages surrounded by happy dancing people get set up.

PMJ are fantastic and always worth seeing... My highlight is in February 2020, the musical box are doing 4 dates in Ireland, and since the chance of the original Gabriel era genesis reforming is zero (despite all being alive), TMB is the next best thing (even sanctioned by the members of genesis)... So, I'll have Cork Limerick and Dublin please...

I was sitting on my back porch this morning watching the sunrise while listening to Einaudi's "The Earth Prelude". I was wishing for a good piano concert...
Spain isn't too far away! I'd love to come visit you!! You don't need to put on a show for me. We could just stroll around and talk about horses and lovely nature.
By the way, this song goes through the colors of the sunrise....darkness, orange, yellows and into blue... it is very invigorating, in a slow, strong and steady method, just as a sunrise is.
I could listen to piano for hours but I need to see the pianist..and the hands too.
I'm only a beginner again after 40 years and only one year tutorial when 13 years old.
But...I am now playing by ear..when I'm inspired...a complete different way than the conventional way of learning.
Apparently...I have now become a "water pianist"?
I am at the moment practising the Spring Waltz or..Marriage d amour..beautiful..
It will be ages before I can play it right but...I'm slowly making progress..
Regarding your coming to Spain...a stroll in the beach would be very enjoyable..in good company...and also a visit to see the horses..?
