Over the lockdown period, I haven't been able t get an appointment with my usual podiatrist, who had the bad manners to get the ordinary flu.
So everything else was put on hold but my toenails kept growing until they now look like a deformed billy goat, I found a podiatrist who has a free appointment at the beginning of next month, joy joy, after promising her everything she asked for I got an appointment.
At the beginning of December, I will shed my hobble and be able to chase the girls again. I thought you might like to share this
TTKSpectre: A podiatrist is a doctor, per wiki "a foot and ankle surgeon." You're talking about a maicurist or some such.
What is difference between podiatrist and chiropodist? There's no difference between the two. "Podiatrist" is the most common and up-to-date - this is because chiropody was given a new name in 1993. Chiropodists and podiatrists have the same qualifications and experience. And both can help you with minor or more severe foot issues.
Makes you look stupid, why make stupid comments???
I have very manly feet...my toes are not perfectly shaped...my nails are not pampered or painted...my feet are very wide and I have to wear big shoes...cause my feet ache too much...when I don't
I have no corns...warts etc and never have had my feet looked at by a specialist.

I'm no Benny Hill..but I do have an audience of female admirers...so I guess this song is appropriate
Take It Easy Eagles
Well, I'm running down the road Tryin' to loosen my load I've got seven women on my mind Four that wanna own me Two that wanna stone me One says she's a friend of mine
Take It easy Take it easy Don't let the sound of your own wheels Drive you crazy
Lighten up while you still can Don't even try to understand Just find a place to make your stand And take it easy
Well, I'm standing on a corner In Winslow, Arizona And such a fine sight to see It's a girl, my Lord, in a flatbed Ford Slowin' down to take a look at me Come on, baby, don't say maybe I gotta know if your sweet love Is gonna save me
We may lose, and we may win Though we will never be here again So open up, I'm climbin' in So take it easy
Well, I'm running down the road Trying to loosen my load Got a world of trouble on my mind Lookin' for a lover Who won't blow my cover She's so hard to find
Take it easy Take it easy Don't let the sound of your own wheels Make you crazy
Come on, baby, don't say maybe I gotta know if your sweet love Is gonna save me

Some podiatrists are MD’s, some are not. A pedicurist is a cosmetologist who has another license to trim toenails. (Not to be off- topic, but in Oregon one can no longer “ pick and choose” licenses in this industry, AND must now pay for each separately. Beauticians coming here from other states get really ticked off..) The career called “ Nail Technician” generally means fingernails, but some programs require students to know and be able to perform both. Oregon actually wants a licensed cosmetologist to have ALL certificates— hair, nails, skin...but many believe this is too much of an over- reach. People working on limited licenses would be “ grandfathered in”, but new applicants would be required to have roughly 5 licenses. If I needed podiatry, I would prefer an MD with podiatry as his discipline to be my practitioner. That is not to say that a podiatrist without the MD couldn’t do a good job, however. Hope this helps you understand how some particular licensing works.

per december the 1st in the Netherlands we will have to wear a facemask in public areas like schools (outside the classroom) shops etc. Well, there is one school where I have to wear one when I'm walking the 20 meters through the building to the classroom, and often it's hard for me not to start throwing up, because I can't breathe the way I would like to. So next week will be a lot of shopping, so I don't have to go to shops to often, and the other shoppings they'll have to deliver at home. I refuse to go to the shops when I am forced to wear a facemask. Can't breathe with one on. Even with carnaval I don't wear a mask.

Can you buy the little forms that go inside the masks to keep them off your face? It's supposed to help with the feeling of claustrophobia.
