Flourish: Oh maaannnn... Thank God you haven't blown their covers. Just imagine next time a fan went to a Star Wars convention or Maccas...This is just between us, right!?
Ah, well, that and another couple of people who might be reading these forums...
MikeHD: What do you mean, "no one can testify to god as real"?How many do you think I could line up to testify that God is more real to them than any emotion they have ever felt?
I'll do it! I'll line them up!
And will find the craziest, most zealous, and totally opinionated people I can find...
just for some added entertainment value.
Can you imagine...
I get all the crazies from my side, and you get all the crazies (like Cro <-- sorry I could not resist) from your side, and we just pop some popcorn and watch the festivities.
Now that would be a party! Thats it for me tonight! I'm out!
Not so fond of your analytical skills, Mike, but you do rock as a party-planner!

crazies huh... you're still talking about people who can only "imagine" god is reality, not people who can prove he/she/it is reality.

I did a pretty good blog on the workings of the brain Mike - its on page 2 or 3 by now but it does pin point the parts of the brain which are respnsible for the sort of stuff you are speaking of - as well as many another aspect of brain activity too - well worth a read
another of the 'crazies' speaking up.......... Hi Mike
Had to go back to school because I just got too poor. But I do find it interesting that the so-called thoery of evolution always bypasses step number 4.
Many people think of an experiment as something that takes place in a lab. While this can be true, experiments don't have to involve laboratory workbenches, Bunsen burners or test tubes. They do, however, have to be set up to test a specific hypothesis and they must be controlled. Controlling an experiment means controlling all of the variables so that only a single variable is studied. The independent variable is the one that's controlled and manipulated by the experimenter, whereas the dependent variable is not. As the independent variable is manipulated, the dependent variable is measured for variation. Controlling an experiment also means setting it up so it has a control group and an experimental group. The control group allows the experimenter to compare his test results against a baseline measurement so he can feel confident that those results are not due to chance. If this scientist is doing his job right, he's observing a control group and an experimental group.
I'm sorry, but I missed the part where scientist duplicated MACRO -evolution. Where they were able to observe evolution in a control environment so that comprehensive data could be collected.
I missed that part.
Mike, are you being deliberately misleading or what?
You conduct a fair test by making sure that you change one factor at a time while keeping all other conditions the same - not by shifting the goalposts at every given opportunity........... If the dependent variable is based on eroneous findings it is pretty damned worthless.........
However, no matter how you choose to compound the issues here - it is still up to the person making a claim to prove it - so, mix your variables however you choose............ your claim remains unproven.......... give us some tangible evidence, some irrefutable findings - give us the 'wow' factor without the brainwash - you may then find a good few more joining in with the soul harvesting - till then though......................
MikeHD: No Cro, only in the pure imagination of a few select men calling themselves scientist is the chance a billion to one. Try 1X10^64 (that is a 1 followed by 64 zeros) to one. I am sorry, but there are a ton of galaxies, and solar systems, and planets, but there are not anywhere close to that number.
and your references for this conclusion are?....................
BnaturAl: you're back to saying god is an emotion again...is he/she/it a being or an emotion????can they prove god is a reality like we can prove that you are a reality ... stop with the non sequiturs ok
Ok folks I own up phoenix is my alter ego...I am god...
