Self-Portrait

Oh, I claim to rely much on rational,
At my workplace I am quite professional,
In my ways I seem slightly emotional
With a hint of a little sensational.
In the matters of money I'm casual,
Never given them role too essential,
Always thought them as something provisional
And regarded them mind oppositional.
And when asked of my views political,
Likes and dislikes of policy national,
I would state saying nothing exceptional,
Peoples' will must remain unconditional.
And of all my traits quite commendable
There seems nothing at all that's condemnable.

About this poem:
Well, my fellow poet delves in indefinite articles, so I followed the suit and turned to adjectives for a change.

marika,

so where you stand of life unknowable
what you see in others unshowable
'course we all want to get along, be affable
to leave others enjoying our words laughable
i like your self-portrait so applaudable
and easy-going sentiments laudable
your wording smithing skills commendable
i end my comment here so ineffable. ;-)

Dumbfounded, overwhelmed, beaten hollow, nothing else to add.

The comments are as entertaining as the actual poem....
I commend you both.....Niahrolling on the floor laughing
as my tutors would say, take a chocolate fish...bouquet grin
