THE WALL
Twin souls, you and me,
Separated by politics and geography,
Two shadows cast upon the same wall,
On opposite sides, that’s all.
Though it might as well be a thousand miles,
I can’t hold you, see your face or your smiles,
Your sacred tears bleed beneath the bricks,
Making me both happy and sad, one hell of a mix.
Maybe we will meet one happy day,
If we both were to dig and meet half way.....

A good write, sometimes separation by geography is the most difficult barrier to deal with, the last two lines though, offer hope for all.

Actually, no need to dig,
Your poem has everything... depth of emotion, geography, physics, the finite and the infinite, as well as religion and politics, but, mostly, it has soul! The writing is on THE WALL, I LOVE this write!
