We treat it like a place, Yet, the dark is a state of consciousness, Somewhere our demons inhabit, un-caged, for us to face, Where, nightly, to the other side of that river we traverse, Our fears we confront and with, converse, To negotiate safe passage ‘til morning and light. Fear not my beautiful one, the dark’s illusion, For tis only part the sum, dawn’s dewy rainbow in conclusion. Knowing both, fearing neither, negates confusion, Brings insight to life’s chaotic mess.

About this poem:
Something different....Hi everyone....Hope you are all keeping well......xxx...Andrew
hello my friend, reading this brought back to me a special time with my daughter. She was 8 we were in the way north back woods canoe in camping. We walked a trail around midnight. We stopped and I asked her to close her eyes a moment. I told her when you close your eyes in the day it will tell you what is around you in the night. As it is the very same, she laughed and said cool your're right dad thank you lol. Thank you Andrew for bringing back a fond memory, cheers my friend.
