Out from long flowing green strands,
Like the softest silken locks,
Reaching above...The softest pair of hands,
Below... A toppled wall of broken building blocks,
At the edge, thrown from where HE stands,
She...Ready for the air that shocks,
One hand now stretched out toward,
Arbiter, leveler of men and stocks,
Legend...Excalibur....Sword

About this poem:
My take on King Arthur's sword, Excalibur, being thrown back to the Lady in the lake, after his last battle....In medievel times, fictional characters were known as "Stock" characters, they were representative of real men, that is what I refer to when saying "Stocks"....Andrew...xxx
