Spirit Guide

I am there in the dark of the peace of the night
I am part of the dawn's soft hush
I am part of the light of the daybreak sky
As I sigh at the rush hour rush
I dance in the dust of the morning light
I rest in the dark of the deepening night
I am there in the warmth of the nigh high sky
And I sit on a cloud when the heaven does cry
I am a beam of the sun on a dazzling day
Healing the Earth, showing you the way
I am there in the thunder when the skies are torn
I am a flake of snow when the winter is born
I am part of the wind sweeping the plain
I am there in a drop of the tingling rain
I am always with you.

About this poem:
For Michael, my main guide.
I know it is repetitive and rhymes but they are fun to write in this way and are best read from the heart, not the intellect.

AAh, the last thing I wish for is to make anyone cry! I tell you, nobody 'dies'-this is just illusion. She lives on but in a differing form. It is a bit like two films being shown simultaneously.

C.J. - no need to apologize for the repetition that's a vital part of what makes this a good poem...the message is the other. Nice work! Hope it was as fun to write as it was to read.
