Chance Encounters

Something has been lost
We didn’t have time to fully enjoy
Not that is actually ever belonged
Even as brief as a glint in your eye
A sly smile on your cheek
I felt your heart slow down
And all of that time stands still
All the flashes from the many
Raindrops like silvery dots
Soaking us in purist delight
Your blue eyes looking out
Under your gaze of deep darkness
Dazzle and fills my naked heart

There's just something about that first chance/first met feeling. There's always the rush and the mystery to it. I really like this, Yankee! wine
