I am your Love always

I am your Love always
I am your child who plays
your hand holding my hand
Playing with me in the sand
Helping me learn and grow
Like the seed you sow
you are my everything
you are my one thing
I love to listen to your song
Not a tune or word wrong
Forever with me by my side
Your love for me you never hide

A child's smile

I lay here alone with a wondering soul
I open my eyes, to a big black hole
Can anyone here me wanting and needing
Like a baby I cry, like missing a feeding

My views change, from time to time
On how people treat life like an ongoing crime
The fear is high and the expectation is low
How can I look around and mentally grow

I love to watch a small child smile
But know whats around that, is nothing but vile
This seems to be the world we are in
Full of murder and change, and cold blooded sin

I want to take these thoughts and remember that smile
And look up at the clouds, with hope for a while
Because despite the bad and messed up ways
I must look deeper and deeper, to live my days

Young Thoughts & Feelings

I want this poem to be finished
But I’ve got to start with it
I want my task be done perfectly
But mistakes, I can’t get away with

I want to stay up and awake
Yet, I can’t help but doze and sleep
I want my studies be through
But I’ve got to sweat and pursue

I want to hold onto my laughter
But I should get exhausted first
I want always to hang tight
But I lack courage to fight

I want to go reaching for the stars
But I have to keep my feet on the ground
I want to continue my singing
But there’s a need for a song to end

I want to be loved and be loving
But still my heart’s always left broken
Better be just myself, be with my pen
And let these thoughts and feelings be written.

Keep it simple

Silver stars shine .
The moon has blossmed
Magical Wisdom
Nights air is still
gives light and clairity
Peaceful warrior
Fairy queen passoniate dreamer
Born to awaken inner child has spoken
Will live to give and fight to live
Feelings of a kid ,The right to speak your mind
Keep it simple .
Love & Light

Always Smiling

I pirhouette on my coiled spring
Looking after pretty things
My face a beautiful, painted smile
Dancing, smiling for my happy child
No need to rush, no destination
Not held back by any reservations
I smile, dance and sing a little tune
Hands in the air as if touching the moon
She smiles when she hears me sing
For I look after her beloved rings
I merrilly dance in a pretty pink frock
I am the ballerina in a child's jewellery box

A Childs Wish

a whisper goes from door to door
the gypsies are in town
mothers usher their children in the safety of the house

the laundry is taken of the line in a hurry
in the house quick quick
doors get locked now
they are never locked

a little girl peeks out the window
she knows what has been said
the gypsies take the little children

the little girl with blond curly hair
she loves the gypsy girls
their long black hair
the shiny golden earrings
she wishes they take her

the gypsies park their big cars and campers by the stream
they have fun making music and dance
the little girl knows because
her brother took her there

at night in her bed she prays
please god let me be a gypsy girl too
so I can play and dance and sing
but god don't want her to

the gypsies leave town
things are back to normal again
the little girl looks out the window
and silent says good bye

maybe next year you will take me
and her mothers thread:
"if you are bad I will sell you to the gypsies"
still clear in her head

I will be bad then my mom will sell me
I can dance and sing and play all I want
and I won't be punished ever again
for I will be

a gypsy!

Faith and Gratitude

When I was little
My Grandpa wrestled bears
Every Sunday
Out in the woods
Behind the small house
He built for us

At least
That's what he told me
And I believed him
For many years
Even after
I had figured him out

Blind (a poem for my dad)

Why don't you let my play Yahtzee?
Are you some kind of Nazi?
Im sorry if my sense of humor is dry
I never meant for anyone to cry
To you I may be a kid with no respect
Your friends think I'm the reject
I don't feel bad when we fight
You never admit that someone else is right
It doesn't matter what I do
When will you get a clue?
You haven't helped mom in four years
All she has are struggling tears
Its all because of your narrow mind
That is what makes you blind

Homeless?

What is homeless?
Shouldn't it be houseless?
I have a house
But a home can not be found
Does this make me a homeless too?

The Last Breath Of Innocence

Thinking of the colour pink, of the pigtails on the ribbons of her hair, of the candles on her cake , of her twelfth birthday and the last breath of innocence that will see it all taken away.

About this poem:
There is for some a particular moment where a tragic or brutal event marks the time where ones innocence is lost - once lost, it is lost forever. For others it is slowly and unknowingly lost over time and perhaps would never seem or known to be lost.
