For my Karen

I simply adore you my first true love.

You built the foundation of love and fear within me.

Before you were born I was fearless and strong about anything

Then you came, I became vulnerable, weak to the notion that if something happened to you

My world would simply crash. .vanish and I would simply crumble. ..

Yes, you taught me the true meaning of love. ..my world changed
For the better because of you

Believe it or not, but that was my truth then

And still remains the same.

You might not hear from me everyday, but know that I always think of you.

I love you. .

Joy

For you see the smile
of your child and it
makes everything
worth wild.
You see things through
their innocent eyes.
For it is like being
young again.
Let them show
you the world.
Let their
enthusiasm
send joy though
your life.
Let them excite
your life in
abundance.

I'm not leaving

At first it was just a quick poem about
no one in paticular
Then I thought mabey I really need
a vacation
Then those glorious maidens ran
shouting through the castle halls
and saying things we all know to
well.. How much the poets here
love each other and the great gift
of language.
I'm honored to have been a part
of this great community of writers
and I'll never be able to step into
the shoes of our great Mr. Fellsman
or an Odette, a Summerwind,
Beautifulyou, Ondos, Morgan, Mac,
DaBomb, and for heavens sake now
I have to just write the whole list so
put your name HERE........
I don't want my name at the top
of any list,
Just knowing you kindred spirits is enough for
me
This is my sworn statement before this
Maiden Tribunal with court fees included.

a Twin wind

Why's it one goe's ahead an one slows behind, is she holdin an makin her mind, the fast wind she's there, the blowin slow, yes she's care, just in thought, yeah it's her prime knowing that for all there's a time. . . . a twin never parts, forever connected hearts two left of three, still a trio u'll be! What's she see . . . a three in two an blessed you'll both be! :)

CHILDREN'S..

What is the meaning of Love?
Love is the key of every parent that's why we
wanted to get married & have our children,
Child is the most precious gift that GOD has given to us.

But why we let this gift gone suddenly just b-cos of
our own satisfaction?
Getting married & get divorce for just a misunderstanding?
we are the one who choose our life..why we let our child suffer
for our own fault?

We don't know what our child feel about parent's who leave
in different home, but deep in they're inner heart they
cry..cry for help..but afraid to voice out..Child of
god ..do we like them to have a happy life or empty heart
that lead them to a Broken mind & heart!!

Think first my friend about leaving our love one's just
b-cos of narrow minded thinking..love your family
& think about the future..they are waiting for US..!!

How Love Feels To Me

My eyes were taken back the first time I seen you

I knew you had captured my heart and soul

I wondered if you felt the same when our hands touched

How does someone explain how our heart feels

I just knew it was you as I held you in my arms

I could not believe how beautiful you were

My heart raced each time I caught a glimpse of you

Is this how love feels as though you can hardy breath

It feels as if you were a part of me and we are one

Just passing thru time like a warm breeze on a spring day

This is how love feels to me

The Portrait (Shadow’s Challenge)

Hung in an odoriferous old attic
Unobtrusive eyes painted with mystique
Her portrait still hung like an odd megalith
Wearing a brilliant hat festooned with feathers
That hung like tassels from ancient cloth
A smile that irrigated love through time
Sitting next to a most foliaceous urn
Playing an ancient harmonium
A forgotten song effectively silenced
By the passage of time

About this poem:
This was quite entertaining as I was inspired to create an illusion of an old portrait that I imagined being stored in an attic of a Victorian age subject.

Lets Play Ball

Passing the ball
To and fro
knowing you have
to get to the basket
is your goal.
No under your leg
is not your kind
you have to focus
so you can see
the ball and
where it is
in your mind.
Getting the shot
1, 2, 3 racking
the points
for all to see.
Winning the game
rah rah rah
forever now
i am a star
