My Last Will and Testament

My last will and Testament

I leave to my children not money or material things
But Love, Honor, Trust, and Respect, and Pride
For these are the true values in life
May they always trust in the Lord?
And each day they awaken to a new dawn
They give thanks for all that they have received
May they always respect mother earth for all she
Has provide for them
May there hearts be filled with love for each other
These are my most valuable things in life
I now leave these things in there hands to pass on
To the next generation with love
From
YOU’RE MOTHER

"Do What Makes Your Heart Sing"

"Do What Makes Your Heart Sing" - Jan 17, 2010
Jim Magee - Poet of the "Common" Man
Dedicated to Gina Lake

I was reading a book from a downloaded site
And a phrase jumped in front of my eyes
Nothing like this ever happens by chance
And that's something you must realize
The phrase of which I'm speaking about is
"Do what makes your heart sing"
It struck me as odd but just temporarily so
And I wrote a poem that said the same thing

But then I thought to myself - that's not really so strange
But it is something most folks never get
That they could make a living doing something they love
And not have even one ounce of regret
Kids never get that thought taught to them
It's "Go out and find a real job!"
And I thought the fact they paid money to you
Was proof enough, you didn't rob

It's hard changing peoples perception of things
That's been drilled into them most of their life
Even the fact of you're free to choose
Will fill many souls up with strife
They can't believe it's as easy as that
There's got to be some part that's missing
It might be the part with you and your love
Locked together out back, madly kissing

Just do what you want and don't worry about planning
Planning's when #1 doesn't work
And #1 always works just the way that it should
It isn't just some lucky quirk
Always remember to teach - Teach your kids to be proud
Be proud of what-ever they bring
And the thing you should stress from the day that their born, is to
"Do What Makes Your Heart Sing"

Micala

You were my second
but I love you no lesser
love comes in many sizes
you are a beautiful little vessel
listen to your big brothers
they will keep you safe
you watch over fat tater
and kiss his little face
not many things
I miss in this world
but holding you is one
my precious baby girl

irish cradle

IRISH CRADLE
BY
BARBARA WALSH TATRO

It rocked us easy through the night
In comfort, warmth, and ancient sight,
Giving us dreams of parents flight
Resting us till early light.

We grew on tea and soda bread,
Colcanon at times the nightly spread.
Table talk of troubled times
That mom and dad left behind.

With them came their lullaby's
Their lilting voice in whisper size
Telling us of our Irish pride.

Southie Town is where we grew
In-between the darkened hue
And creed and doctrine, as babies knew.

The grape and faith walked hand in hand,
Our thoughts and heart of a land
Carved deep within tradition's band,
While Erie's waters stained our hands.

Now in thought and memories past
We feel the cradle rocking fast,
It's easy sway so far behind
Our view muddled, peat bog blind.

But the lilting voice, in whisper sound,
That sheltered cradles in Southie town
Did not need and eye to hear
Just a heart free from fear
Planted and watered by Irish tears.

tomorrow could be your day

from those around....
ihear aCry....
a mouthful sob....
a hopeless sigh....
I hear their footsteps leaving slow,
And then i know my soul must FLY
A chilly wind
begins to blow,
within my soul,
from head to toe,
And then ,last breath
escapes my lips,it's time to leave.
And i must Go!
So,it is true
(But it's too late)
They said:each soul
has its given date
when it must leave
it's body's core,
and meet with it's
eternal fate.
Oh mark the words that i do say.
Who knows? tomorrow could be your day

My Boy

watching you get ready nervousness
has come over you as it is your
last game.
You are the quarterback for the team.
You are anxious to see just how good
you can or would be.
The team has become your friends
acting almost as close as a family.
You will miss them as the game ends
even the coaches who were friends.
Now my little boy how you have grow
to soon be a man on your own.
I am proud of you each and every
day for my boy is growing up in a
good smart way.

Grandaughter Levanna

By:Madeliene
January 30, 2010

Days go by one at a time
I watch you grow
Yes this grandaughter of mine
Is anything but slow
A gifted child she is
She has an awesome streak
Of joy, artistic and creative
God is giving her a tweek
Of witch I could write a narative
She's getle and very curious
We talk of family and friends
To put her down would be ludicrous
Her ife is on the mend
She's a pleasure to be with
We play word games together
Her mystories are not myths
I will love her forever
I remind her that humility
Is a virtue to be nurtured
Her life has stability
Our relationship is like a jolly bowl of custard
We laugh at all sorts of things
She's a joy to have around
A voice like a bird she can sing
Once was lost but now she's found
She promised never to do drugs
That can alter her beautyful mind
She's affectionate and likes hugs
Sometimes impatien yet she's kind
Common sense is her strength
She's lovable I find
For her I will go to any length
She's a joy to have around
We have so much fun together
She wears a Spiritual crown
Unconditionally I will love her forever
She could be anthing she wants to be
She has dreams of life yet unlived
She will always be a treasure to me
Of myself to her I give
May she grow strong and true
Be of service to mankind
I will comfort her when she's blue
I will gently nudge her from behind
She never sesses to amaze me
Her little girl is wealthy
My great expectations she can see
Awesome the bond she has with me!
--grandma has loved you longer!--

the swan at port

I see you every day
it's not important you see me
I'm the man who moors his boat
near your house beside the quay

your son is older than me
learning issues t'would appear
he follows you like gravity
like a worry follows fear

you never appear angry
in the face of nature's mirth
every day he walks beside you
every day a brand new shirt

you always seem to have a smile
as you fumble for your key
I'm humbled by your kindness
you must be north of sixty-three

I think about your life
as the water soaks the sands
you hold your son so tightly
an umbilical cord of hands

"who looks after you" I think
but there's steel around your home
a dignity past this modern place
a swan a'swim in chrome

The World of Einstein and me

Last night I still took you to bed
Touched your little head
Your sad eyes stare
The sun is still shining today
You're already cold
Lay down well
Sleeping with eyes open
My Einstein
Tomorrow autumn rain will fall on your grave

And the world is always the world of yesterday
Rise from the winter chair
I'm still worried
disturb you curled up
Always touch your head
Say "Go back to sleep, Tantan"——
Big hairs with dirty
Dandy with graceful gait
Gifted singer knowing nothing
Pull down cactus
The burglar who buried the bun in the flowerpot
Only two seconds bloody battle in your life
Raising wounded paw for my inspection
As defeated General with the broken flag
Looking for the Medal of Comfort
Flying on to my bed, occupying my seat
Close tracking, Limit jumping
Quickly surrendering, always suspecting
Three turns around a tree, where to pee?
Playful and popular
A little skin-broken, thousand times grievances
Every time I go home
There's always you waiting behind the door
Just like the sun scatters the clouds
Happily reunited after the robbery
My Einstein

Still behind our glass
Little Tantan, I hold you
Look out of the window, the another world
The sky has colours you haven't seen before
Draw layers of white clouds and you
Draw the bleak four seasons fleeing at full speed
Look at the Yellow ginkgo tree
Osmanthus blooms
Holly bears green fruit
Creeping purple grass all over the ground
Neither you nor I know their name
Deep water and green riverbanks
Five wild flowers are sweet and empty
protecting and Washing and irrigating
Why do the blossoms last for many years?
With you on the side, the ceremony as usual
I'm busy, You're watching
Your nose is still sharp
All that disappears is the illusion world
Tantan
Remember which benevolent planet you came from
Remember the way home
And in the afternoon sun
What I told you in your ear

Einstein
Sometimes you are so arrogant
No calling your full name
No bothering to look back
The scenery that you missed
made me to burst into tears
You just lie down beside me calmly
Complying with the agreement since ancient times
Hide the biscuits under my pillow
Welcome me home
Vicissitudes of life
My treasure, your indifference
Constant world in your heart
Chaos and confusion in my eyes
Companion in my life, suddenly the distant stars
Without warmth or cold, is there any sunshine ?
I look at you so worried
You look back at me the same way
How can I comfort you?
Everything will be fleeting
You know I'm happy for birds
Sad for deciduous
Einstein
You're happy and you're sad
Needless to say, neither to hide
One day
Snowstorm will cover up all life
Take away our humble wishes
—— be concentric with no lonely
My breath is your life
You are between me and the moon

Under the broad shade of cedar trees
Behind the lush marigold bushes
At noon you are buried with the sun
Still night I wander under the moon
Take all the words
Tell you again
You're not there in three days.
