So call my name in times of grief.
No, do not wait till all is lost,
Lost there beneath the winters frost.
For in the night there comes a thief,
To reap your soul just like a sheaf;
Your protests then they will exhaust,
So call my name.
For I will keep your waiting brief;
While catching what you've lightly tossed,
Upon the ground to pay the cost;
I vow to you this true relief,
So call my name.

i fly, nestled in the security of my solitude,
for up here, no one can touch me at this altitude...
the clouds my playground while stars light my night,
wondering what the earth below does beneath my sky...
with these wings...
i soar, in my never ending canopy,
drawing life from the warmth that the sun has handed me...
safe above your earthly fears and all that kills you slowly,
free of all the hate and anger that you have always shown me...
with these wings...
i glide, not bound by greed or wealth,
all i do is fly, only worried about my health...
up here isn't heaven, but neither is it hell,
but its probably safer than down there i can tell...
with the wings...
i drift, happy in my clouds,
but how can i be happy, when i can't stop looking down...
longing to be amongst the crowd that call this earth a home,
instead of in my world of clouds, constantly alone...
with these wings...
between my fingers, stretched beyond their limits,
torn from flesh and cast aside, i can finally end this...
falling fast and gaining speed, i let my eyes slide shut,
for i'd rather be here on the ground, with my friends as we look up...
with these wings...
i'll give a feather to everyone that i would call a friend,
to remind you all that it was you, who made this world worth living in...

About this poem:
I was up late night and stressed out about all the fake people in my life. After a few seconds I got over it and deleted about 80% of the people in my friends list on myspace. After seeing I was down to a handful of people I considered real friends along with a few bands I liked, this poem came to me. So I sent it to all of them along with GIF of some feathers falling.

Remember me though I'm far away, and even if it is bounded by hills, mountains and even oceans, especially when you are at the height of your happiness.

Another story written down
In the pages of our lives
Talkin bout how we laughed
Until we cried
We said we'd live until we died
But who's to say when
This pen will ever run dry
All i'm trying to do
Is just live for
Tonight
All i'm asking of you
Is just live for
tonight
We put some miles on
These broken soles of ours
We had some falls
Got some bruises
And some scars
They remind us
Of the lessons
We had to learn
And now we're older
But we're still learning
What it is to burn
All i'm trying to do
Is just live for
Tonight
All i'm asking of you
Is just live for
tonight
Bridge/Solo
All I'm trying to do
Is just live for
Tonight
All I'm asking of you
Is just live for
Tonight

Footprints in the Sand
The feeling of hope and unimpeachable dreams abound
Breathing in the wonderfulness of nostalgic tranquil heat
A place that’s mine, my sanctuary a fragile peace I’ve found
Each step released my tentative journey on hesitant feet
With sullied, tainted love in treacherous tethers bound
Distant correlation, unfamiliar stirring alliance brings light
Rolling breakers crash wantonly ashore and defiantly resound
Freedom, power, stoic assurance lacking permission or respite
Burning inferno volcanic ascendancy quelled tentatively inside
Unwavering loyalty reveals faithfully genuine expectations
Mistral winds blow hot liken the inner voices insistent chide
The golden sun and carpet of rolling green masking deprivation
Mighty mountains confidently stood upward pointed an assertive hand
Summer rose’s unfurled demanding absolute attention and reverence
The beach decries the fall of that mighty mountain now mere sand
Fear captivated, restrictive vicelike grip holds penchant prevalence
The sun secretes her face down swallowed whole devoured by night
The heat of the blazon sun diminished by a perpetual moving hand
As summer burns excitingly hot, azure skies impart longevity of light
Tomorrow will our new found amity by here or like the footprints in sand?

About this poem:
I wrote this poem with thoughts of venturing again into new friendship, betrayal is very hard to overcome and leaves vunerabilty and mistrust, the tentitive steps toward new friendship can be like a cripple rising up from the wheelchair to take those first few shaky steps filled with apprehension and fear. Do we ever overcome that fear of treachery to start again or is it merely masked in fear of being alone?

_( I NEED YOU)_
I REMEMBER ALL THE CRAZY THINGS WEVE BEEN THROUGH.
WITH OUT YOU I WOULDNT KNOW WHAT TO DO.
YOU ALWAYS LOOK OUT FOR ME AND YOUVE ALWAYS STAYED TRUE.
THE FURTHER WE GROW APART THE MORE I REALIZE THAT I NEED YOU.
YOU ALWAY TOLD ME YOU WOULD BE THERE UNTILL THE END.
THATS WHY YOUR MY BEST FRIEND.
YOU NEVER LET ME DOWN OR STEER ME WRONG.
WHEN I FEEL WEAK YOU LET ME KNOW THAT IM STRONG.
I MIGHT NEED YOU FOREVER BUT I KNOW ONE DAY THAT YOU WILL BE GONE.
YOU HAVE BEEN MY BEST FRIEND FOR ALL OF THESE YEARS.
BUT ONE DAY THE ONLY THIG THAT WILL BE LEFT IS ALL THE MEMORIES AND TEARS.

_( FEELING GOOD TODAY)_
I ROLLED OUT OF BED,
BOWED MY HEAD,
AND BEGAN TO PRAY.
I SMILE AND THINK TO MY SELF, TODAY IS GOING TO GE A GOOD DAY.
I CAN FEEL THE BREEZE,
THE AIR BRUSHING THROUGH THE TREES,
AND I SIT AND WATCH THE WIND SCATTER THE LEAVES.
ITS DAYS LIKE TODAY,
WHEN I KNOW THAT EVERYTHING IS GOING TO BE OK.
AND TODAY NOTHING CAN STAND IN MY WAY.
IM GOING TO SPEAK UP BECAUSE I HAVE PLENTY OF THINGS TO SAY.
TODAY IM UN BREAKABLE, UN STOPABLE, AND IM FEELING PREEY GOOD TODAY.
ALL THE PAIN AND ALL THE SHAME IS GONE WITH YESTERDAY

JUDGE NOT
As we have now entered into the new century
It‘s time for all of us to take a good look as to how we treat each other
And stop all the prejudice that is going on in the world
What difference does it really make?
It is not for us to judge any one
For each person born into this world
Did not have a say as to the face or body we have been given
On the other hand, or even what colour our skin was to be
That was Gods decision. Some day we all have to face him
Now I certainly would not want to be the one to say to the almighty
That he makes the wrong decision would you?
Stop and take the time to look around. Haven’t you ever noticed?
That God made the world in many colour
The flowers, the birds, animals the fish in the sea
Take a rose for instance they come in red, pink, and yellow
Are they all not truly beautiful?
So why would he of made the human race all in one colour
He gave us eyesight so that we could see the beauty in this world
That we where born into
Remember don’t judge a person
By there looks or the colour of their skin
For the beauty lies with in
