A few extra pounds weighed
heavy on her mind
But her electrifying smile
was one of a kind
The other girls in the office
could swish and sway
They thought slim and slender
would win the day
But their pride was hurt when
that man walked in
And just passed them by with
roses in hand
So handsome was he you could
hear them swoon
But his feet kept walking into
another room
His heart was set on the real and
true
That's what he saw in her eyes
so blue
He approached her desk and you
could hear no sound
He lay down the roses then
spun her around
The girl who could carry a pound
with grace
Was surely the desire of this mans
taste
And as he gently slipped her from
her office chair
The slim and slender had no
strength to bare.

She held the curtain to
her cheek not yet ready
for a tear
It would take alot to sadden
that face for she had never
known a fear
But I drove away just the same
with a regret or two of my own
She just didn't know how many
nights she'd be sobbing by the
phone
'What was that spirit he brought
she pondered on a tear stained
pillow..?'
'With him I felt alive again like
a bluejay singing to a weeping
willow..'
How does she count the days when
her silver pot no longer has it's shine?
She counts all as death in the terrible
truth she'd lost one of a kind

Life is not a poem that
makes a perfect rhyme
Our heart is ever a mystery
that puzzles our natural
mind
We seek meaning from without
from a thousand shifting winds
Enlightened by our virtues and
captive to our sins
Shot through and through with
confusion as each war can testify
It's the reason we dread the morning
and why the starving child does cry
O, we hope some genius comes along
or some philosopher with special wit
With them we'll put our trust when at
their feet we'll sit
But as this old world keeps on turning
We pray someone reviews our case
It's then that still small voice whispers,
'It's all a test of faith.'

Intelligent women are
full of grace
Arrogance has vanished
without a trace
She'll gaze through eyes
full of compassion
And wear her clothes
in fitful fashion
When she's with her man
she's with her man
And she can prove that
fact with the touch of
her hand
She'll never press an issue
to flaunt her wit
She'll respect an opinion and
gracefully quit
Though she frolics and teases
and plays like a child
When her passion is loosed
it's primal and wild
Treat her kindly for many
seasons has she
Her smile can awaken you
like burgeoning Spring
Kisses like dewdrops a
midnight's dream
She'll let you know when
the time is right
Your souls will melt
in moonlit night

I am a dream
of I
Dream me a sweeter
dream said I
Dream me a tear that
cannot cry
Awake me from this
dreamy sigh
Pinch me from my
drowsy I
Kiss me awake from
my dying I
Enlarge my heart from
this blinded eye
Hope me again for
a second try
Dream me wings til
I surely fly

Love is only love
a lil more or less
Shameful when it's
covered
And naked at its
best
Love is only love
not meant for one
to sell
But a priceless gift
from Heaven to keep
us out of Hell~

Some might call it a
lonely christmas sittin'
here in the dark..
But my lil' tree is all
I need to warm my weary
heart..
I guess family could be
here but it wasen't meant
to be..
So I'll gaze at this lovely
glow from my lil' christmas
tree..

Walk into Eternity
Adorned with immortality
Stripped of flesh and bone
This primitive reality
Mind dimensions unknown
Spirit transcending time
Consciousness awakening from
itself
To a world beyond sublime
Infinity is but a moment, within
forever it is bound
Eternity is but a broken clock..
The only game in town-

The man she really wants won't
be found in some scribbled poem
He won't dial her number as she
sobs by a late night phone
For she knows that he is born of
magic which the wind cannot contain
Only He understands her smiles and
the sorrow of her rain
She awaits for him to decend with
sword and shield in hand
She reasons her children will florish
in a sweet and conquered land
But she awakens to the kiss of her
prince, yet it's to sad for words to tell
For she lived her life as a devil
And now she abides in Hell..

Who keeps us smiling with with a
thousand stories and one?
Whom do the maidens choose
as the knight to be won
Who keeps the heart alive in his
every written poem
Why do the ladies sit weeping
by the phone
It is the one who keeps us poets
always asking for more
His name is Morgan..and
He's much much more!
