Lonely Night

Embedded image from another site

Tonight I am so lonely
Please stay with me awhile
Be my blessed company
My Lily of the Nile
Many nights I wish
Upon a falling star
That love comes to me
From near or afar
Just be with me in the moment
In solitude and peace
Make me your caprice
I need you so much tonight
These walls scream with pain
Be my shining knight
Just hold me once again
You don’t need to say a word
Nothing uttered or said
Only silence in your voice heard
And love felt within your heart
Calm the fires that burn within
And then when you leave my friend
Always think of me again

Where for Art Thou Ragdolls

Embedded image from another site

Mamma, I had my rag dolls on my chair
Sitting in my room and now their gone!
‘Are you sure they were on the chair
They didn’t just vanish in thin air’!

Maybe this is what happened . . .

Raggedy Ann was playing the part
Of a Lady in love in a castle far away
Tired of waiting for her Lord to return
She wandered down the hall and did stray
Happening upon the dimly lit dining hall
She helped herself to a little sip of brandy
Feeling lost without her Raggedy Andy
Who is pretending to be the castle Lord
That comes to find her fighting to the death
With his mighty shield and Nerf sword

They love one another right Mamma?
‘yes, dear, but let me finish my drama’

Now, there are at least eight rag dolls
In this house, maybe more, I’m not sure
And I’ve seen them in every room
In every form of costume
They’ve been thrown on the floor
Hidden behind locked doors
Flopped on and under chairs
Found among your teddy bears
Left abandoned on the stairs

Crumpled in corners amongst the dust bunnies
Don’t laugh, this lost rag doll situation isn’t funny
Broom handles we had to use to retrieve
The rag dolls we found way under your beds
That fiasco rescue resulting in bumped heads
Why these rag dolls get lost is hard to conceive
And you know how many times I’ve tripped over them
Missing rag dolls are turning our house into mayhem

Admit it love, they’ve been all over this house
Been found in more places than a castle mouse
Their everywhere and they always go missing
There is no need to blame your sisters

So, the very next time your rag dolls are lost
Probably tomorrow or the next day, I’d say . . .
I want you to pretend that they are fair maidens
Held captive by an evil wizard in a far away castle
Peering out a window as they tug on a velvet tassel
In order to save them and rescue them again (and again)
You need to gather a formidable army and saddle your horses
Enlisting your sister Knights to join up with your search forces

Interruption . . .

What about Lord Raggedy Andy that comes to the rescue
Fighting to the death with his mighty shield and Nerf sword?

Pause …

Lord Raggedy Andy is a spy and was tried in King’s court for malicious lies
Honestly, he wouldn’t have been much help, remember, he has button eyes!

Well, his shield and his Nerf sword were not fit for battle being way too soft
Oh, by the way, I think I saw your rag dolls out in the barn, way up in the loft

Go look! And if you find your rag dolls you can have a piece of candy
I’ll be waiting here in the dining hall, just having a little sip of brandy

The wizards potion

Stir stir bubble and boil
Churn churn in loves
sweet toil
This maidens lure is one
smooth lotion
She'll never resist this seductive
potion
Sprinkle exotic herbs and she's
bound to squeal
Add a few strange grapes and
she'll surely kneel
O, naughty naughty simmer and
bake
O, wilt thou taste this wizards cake?

Lockless and the Delilah maidens

Seventy maidens from CS castle
broke through enemy lines
They slew the guards of the sleeping
monarch..
They took the kings spoils with all
his golden treasures
They took Philistine spears and
shields
They took the latest Pyramid high heels
which helped women walk like an Egyptipn
They stole the queens pink panties
Then they entered the tent of the sleeping
monarch and clipped and snipped until
he was clipless and snipless
For they were merely following the ancient
saying, 'For she who weilds a heavy clipper,
shall emerge as royal Queen of the snipper.'
So the CS maidens bound him hand and foot
They followed to the letter the propheticbook
They paraded him through the city making
mockery and sport
They even stripped him of his boxer shorts
The lockless one did bow and kneel as half
naked maidens shouted,'How does that feel?
They tied him between pillars of stone
O, those naughty maidens did make him moan
So they teased and tickled for a month and
a day
Til the lockless monarch said,'O, behave!

In The Woods

I set off along the faint trail
it was one I had not noticed before
plunging me deep into unknown territory
stomach clenched in excitement as I strode on

Tall old Oaks, Aspens, Chestnuts and Beeches
cloaked the way ahead, I was aware of silence
rather a nervous paused silent as if holding it's breath
everything seemed to be waiting for something to happen

Deeper into the woods I went, admiring the new slightly odd
flora and fauna scattered about, beautiful flowers blooming
mushrooms two feet and more wide with red and yellow spots
sturdy enough to sit on while I took a rest

Slipping into sleep I travelled even deeper
until I came to the heart of these mysterious woods
a shout went up from elves, fairies and pixies
she is here at last, our soon to be crowned new queen

A magical glen with a throne in the middle
red carpet made from red flower petals strewn
jewels most wondrous glinting in the trees
birds so colourful that they dazzle as they fly

Clasping me by the hand, the pixies lead me to the throne
once I am seated, they serve me with golden nectar
tasty berries and cakes of flowers on leaves for plates
full of such excitement I gaze around the clearing

A place of tranquillity and majestical splendour
little houses in the trees and small fairy lights
standing sentinel was an ancient gnarled Oak
branches waving as it moved towards me

Shaking as it drew closer and stopped before me
an elf handed it a crown that glittered with gems
turning to me it said let the crowning commence
with great ceremony he uttered the words

"Has any here just cause as to why she shouldn't be crowned?"

A deathly silence prevailed not even a murmur
Then turning to me he placed it on my head
all around were now on bended knee, heads bowed
The oak said "Now you are our ordained queen"

As a great cheer went up I startled back awake
the clearing, throne and all the little people vanished
All that was left behind was a feather of wonderful hues
and the crashing of a startled stag fleeing into the trees

Labyrinth Of Life

When we are born we start the labyrinth of life,
when we are very young our parents take the reins
but as you slowly grow up it then becomes your
own responsibility, we have only two roads to take
but we nearly always make the wrong choice
a stumbling block through life, when we choose wrong
we find our self in a maze or labyrinth, we then have
to solve our puzzled mind and find our way out.
These are life's ongoing problem to make sure our
minds stay alert as we strive to stay on the correct
road to get to the next level of understanding, they
say you never look back, so the conclusion is to succeed
in what you are doing and pursue the impossible.
there is nothing impossible, however there are times
when they are improbable. This is the rule of the labyrinth
of life, can we rise to the occasion or fall behind at
the wayside. The ultimate test applies to all.

Spirit Love

Embedded image from another site

As loving spirits in this universe world travel
Through dimensions of cosmic fields in endless time
Yielding to sounds heard from a tinkling music chime
So abundant beyond imagination as they unravel
Like living plants that flourish in perfect clime

No one can project what incredible depth love yields
Within the rainbow lights of eternal star fields
Stitched with passion and compassion precisely mixed
With additions of the right amount of playful humor
Honesty lends as souls become more transfixed
And hearts profess love for one another’s future

Contemplating sharing within one another's uniqueness
Like soft and gentle lullabies wrapped in sweetness
Man and woman in spirit agreement and understanding
Chosen factors imploring minds moving and expanding
Giving each their heart and soul in peace, undemanding
Motivating us to move in our spirits of love and be complete

Cosmic Dances

Embedded image from another site

Gliding through the universe
Ancient galaxies our birthright
Devant’ moons that light the night
Stars glissade' as we traverse

Souls upon a magical journey
Bathed in sweet tendu' honey
Among Lyra the bright star Vega
Appears Alphas and Omegas

Allegro bodies whirl like cyclones
Releve' consciousness within
Mirrored in crystal birthstones
Etching life upon our skin

Spirits dance in cambre' capture
Encompassed in awesome rapture
Hearts sashaying loves forevers
Dancing under en le aire’ feathers

Peace in daily prayers today
Mantras chant, replay, envelope’
The souls eternal promenade' of stars
Arabesque to sounds of stringed sitars

Feel the love connecting us
To eternal particles ubiquitously
With eyes of eagles we see cosmically
Reaching pirouette heights collectively

Electrons moving at near speeds of light
All ready now the dance in sight
A cosmic ballet of twilight
Port-de-bras delight
Tonight

Three Mary's

The magestic hills of
Blossum Grove held much
to be admired
For Mary Love it was the
meandering streams where
she met the love she
so desired
But Mary Doubt saw only
a cold landscape, and
no beauty could heal
her heart
Yet Mary Optimist found
hope among the tulips
and faith for a brand
new start~

Love Clock

The love clock tells
no time
No hours have passed
Not even a chime
Between past and future
in the eternal now
Loves timeless face
will forever smile~
