Lonliness

Embedded image from another site

Nothing can compare
To loneliness
It’s an emptiness
A heaviness
Rather careless
Bathed in a bareness
Chaotic and directionless
Days that seem endless
Becoming more restless
Lacking in friendliness
Filled with memories
Like an evil temptress
Stealing your happiness
Moving and reckless
A formidable nemesis
Filled with pettiness
Bankrupt and penniless
Persecuting and relentless
Buried in deadliness
Longing for tenderness
Spoken in sentences
We must end the endless
Unbearable lonliness
Use our intelligence
Imaginative like Pegasus
Fill up with loving kindness
Beautiful and generous
Absent of selfishness
Knowing holy awareness
Dawning in friendliness
A loving pure readiness
Seeking the happiness
Making new memories
Dreams of the genesis
Magnetic in benevolence
Harnessed in loveliness
Washed in gentleness
Leaving you breathless

Tomfoolery

Embedded image from another site

Tom Fool circa sixteen fifty
This is so wild fandango nifty
Tomfoolery is to crazy behavior like
Shenanigans is to a drunken sailor
Like high jinks is to a drinking game
Of irrefutable Highland Scottish fame
Roughhousing will give a crazy spin
To drunken gambling and a dollar grin

Buffoonery orders a round of drinks
Messing with your mind me thinks
Jack and Jill are still missing links
Horse playing and tumbling down
Trying to find a broken crown
With a little dicking around

Malarkey involving secret codes
Mischief and clownery explodes
There’s that monkey business
We’ll catch you later gator
Trifling gleefully layer by layer
Huge on spells and magic wands
Gotcha! Dear John, Jon, or Juan

Tomfoolery can go way beyond
Normal everyday common insanity
However, it should always remain
Sharp as a razor (more on this later)
With comic fall down slapstick
Added generously for kicks

Ode to Online Dating

Ode to Online Dating Sites:

This entity we call dating "online"
Is designed to make us really feel "fine"
But in the larger reality
It may be a form of insanity
We all truly believe it's ok
So we practice everyday

Desiring to make that perfect connection
We have no phone to even hear a voice inflection
It takes a certain amount of conviction
To focus and contemplate our selection
No one wants any rejection only attention
So our minds begin the process of introspection
And that one beautiful exception

Are we holding out for perfection?
Or just dreading a disconnection!
This online dating is like an infection
At some point we may need an inoculation
But not before you complete that chemistry section!
So we know we're heading in the right direction

If we live too far
That may be deal breaker
We don't want to use our car
Because one of us could be a faker
I guess people do get together
In, I presume, all kinds of weather
It all seems so surreal

To believe a profile can appeal
To the one you seek for the rest of your life
Whether it be a husband or a wife
Here's to online dating - "cheers"
I am so glad we are all here!

Wiggle your mouse and contact someone special
It won't be that awful or too stressful
There's always "delete"
So you don't have to repeat
Any mistakes on your way to success
Let's all be very extra careful
And hope we get to that next level!

Body talk

You never know if its a
swish or a swash
If its a twirl or a swirl
A hippy move or a
seductive grove
Is it a naughty look or
a closed book
Her big toe balancing
her red highheel
Or a teasing test to
see how you feel
A flip of the hair in
the morning breeze
has brought many a
King to his knees
But those painted nails
and flashy eyes
Hath rendered this mortal
male to languished sighs..

Mystery

Embedded image from another site

Within us are goddesses and angels bathed in sweet cloves
Vibrations of change filling our hearts treasure troves

Clearing cluttered minds setting spirits free from the haze
Fertile and empowered where love's power begins to graze

Circles astral gliding upon oceans and jade agate seas
Mesmerizing in the swirling batterie’ of a ballerinas

The rhythm of life spins across the vast blue skies
Reflections of crystal stardust in alabaster eyes

Healing past memories, comforting our cries
Living forever in spirits that never die

Knowing this place and finding the peace therein
Ageless and freeing our life to let the power begin

Family

Embedded image from another site

It’s a day like any other
Kids leave waving to mother

Husband gives a kiss and hug
Yes, still such a handsome mug

Walking back to the kitchen
Knees stiff and still aching

Pour another cup of coffee
Listening to silence it’s awful

Light up another darn smoke
Like common ordinary folk

Browse the paper for sales
Need snacks for lunch pails

Grass needs mowing
Gutters full, leaves blowing

Neighbor’s dog runs in the street
Postman coming for it to greet

Laundry to do and beds to make
Stretching, yawning trying to awake

Radio playing a favorite tune
Husband home for lunch at noon

Time to dress and fuss with hair
Prayers said for a good day to share

Dinner needs some careful planning
Delicious, nutritious and appealing

Cleaning and organizing to do
Depended upon to come through

Each and every day for family
No time for unhappiness or apathy

Castle Queen moves through the day
And every once in awhile
Thoughts creep in of running away

Stopping and sighing with a smile
Of course escaping would never do
This beautiful family depends on you

Today

Today I can make a choice
To fill my body and rejoice
By surrendering to the day’s flow
So that my spirit being can grow

Today I need to quiet the warrior
Tearing down the determination barrier
Selecting behavior that’s appropriate
Choosing only love actions to integrate

Today I should completely surrender
By making my heart and soul engender
My ideal dual nature of two into one
Embodying the light energy from the sun

Today I can be a compassionate being
My mind can take action that is freeing
In doing this without fear, I am complete
In peace while reaching out in love so sweet

Today you have within you the warrior and yogi
These work together for our good if we can only see
That this combination is our unique humanness
Molding the duality into one beautiful luminance

Today you can choose to make a difference
By adding to another’s spatial existence
Giving freely of yourself very selflessly
Feeling your surrender deepen so helplessly

The Gift's

It's not that my eyes
have beheld the dawn
or the golden leaves
of fall
But that I have this
miracle in the gift of
sight and that I see
anything at all
It's not in the hearing
of the most beautiful
sounds such as when you
speak a word
But in the amazing fact
that I hear your voice
and that anything is
heard
It's not that I can carress
your cheek when in lonely
moments you call
But that I have the gift of
touching you and can feel
anything at all~

For every beautiful woman

For every beautiful woman
stands a man in admiration

For every fallen tear awaits
a meaningful destination

For every cheek that's ever
been kissed by the passionate
mouth of man

Stands an admiring Eve in Eden
where love's sweet kiss began~

Reality Virtually

The whirring of the fan drew him from the hall.
He once again was drawn to the cyber call of his computer.
Like a frenzied hunter hearing a twig break in the forest,
He hastened to unlock the virtual world
which was just around the corner.
He knew he could master the challenge be it game or search or query.
He knew this sport kept his mind sharp and practiced and yet it did
Draw him from the elements that were firm
and solid with mass and molecule.
Several hours later he smiled with reckless
abandon as he sent his last and wittiest email.
He had come, seen and conquered. Veni, vidi, vinci.
He had yet again taken on that
Black rectangular monster and mastered it once more.
His thoughts were sharp, his reactions sharper.
His weapons has performed flawlessly. His anti-virus had
kept him safe throughout this battle.
He reveled in his intellect and scurrilous Courage.
The vanquished software knelt before him in humble servitude.
The trumpets sounded and he put the device to his ear.
“A loaf of bread and a dozen eggs?” “No problem....right away dear!”
