The dance hall was smokey
not my kind of place
I'd rather view the ocean
more suited to my taste
But the music was a bit
seductive so I lingered
for awhile
But the devil had paid
her ticket and allured
me with a smile
Somewhere between ten
and two my morals were
put on trial
Cause the cats claws had
sunk in deep..
When she whispered with
a smile***

Love transcends everything ~
Challenges . . .
Distance . . .
Time . . .
Like memories it evokes,
Love is never lost
If it's still found
within your heart.

Cattle die kindsmen die
Thy to will soon die
But far and fair will
The deeds of a good man
Travel even after death

How to see through dripping eyes
only then can the truth be exposed
everything is blurry and out of focus
but never have I seen things so clear

About this poem:
I cry for the people who were here before the "White Eyes" arrived from the East to take over this continent. It's the natural order of things on this planet though, and it's played out from vegetation to insects to fish to Lions to human beings. The strong survive to breed, the weak perish. This poem was inspired by a song by Buffy Sainte Marie called "My country Tis of Thy People You're Dying".

These brown eyes have glimpsed beauty many times in this llifetime. Yet, never before have they glanced upon such exquisite nobility as lies before them tonight. The texture of your skin softer than the finest silk. Your dark wavy hair so beautiful, like the mane of a thoroughbred stallion. I'm afraid if I touch you I may damage the jewel. for my hands are rough from tampering with steel. Please forgive the boldness of a poor fellow's stare, but I can't succor myself. You're as lovely as the sight of a baby doe. Those piercing dark eyes of yours burn the abyss of my soul. How incredible it must be to awaken next to someone so fabulous, your breath caressing my cheeks, your fragile frame entwined with mine. Indeed, what a blissful moment, knowing that for once in my life I am going to be touched by a creature so phenomenally extravagant. It makes me almost dizzy to imagine what it would be like to taste the delicate fruits of your secret garden and nurture from its basket like bees swarming to honey. By Cheyenne Yakima

YO LADY...COME HERE PLEASE AND NOW
YOU NEEDN'T CURTSEY FOR I WILL NOT BOW
YOU SEND ME A MESSAGE AS IF YOU THINK YOU KNOW ME
AS THOUGH WE FELL FROM THE SAME VINE AND/OR TREE
AND THEN YOU PROSTILATIZE ON WHAT I SHOULD DO
LADY, I DON'T EVEN KNOW YOU
AND THEN YOU SEND ME E-MAIL
AS IF YOU THINK MY BELIEF IS THAT I WAS BIRTHED ONLY TO FAIL
AND YOU BEGIN SPOUTING DETAILS OF MY LIFE AS IF THERE WERE NO DOUBT
AND AS IF YOU KNOW WHAT I AM ALL ABOUT
AND THEN YOU BEGIN WITH ALL YOUR PERCEPTIONS
WHILE I TAKE EXCEPTION TO ALL YOUR EXCEPTIONS
I MEAN YOU TOLD ME ENOUGH THAT I HOULD JUST WALK AWAY
WELL FOR A KICK I'D LIKE TO HEAR MORE OF WHAT YOU HAVE TO SAY
YOU, THINKING YOU COULD READ MY MIND
AND THE KIND OF FUTURE I SHOULD FIND
A LADY YOU WISH MIGHT ONE DAY REALLY CARE
a charming LADY NONETHELESSS WITH SO MUCH ADVICE TO SHARE
THE KIND OF LADY WHO THINKS SHE KNOWS IT ALL
AND A LOVELY NATURE THAT CAN, AT ONCE, APALL
THINK ABOUT IT LADY, WHAT IF EVERYTHING YOU WROTE WAS WRONG
AND I WOULD NEVER WANT TO DANCE WITH YOU TO YOUR FAVORITE SONG
YOU WITH YOUR ASSERTIONS, CONCLUSIONS AND UNAMBIGUOUS INSIGHT
AND HOW YOU SEEMED TO KNOW ALL ABOUT MY PLIGHT
YET NEVER HAVING MET ME STILL YOU WERE GOD-DAMNED RIGHT
AND IF YOU CHOOSE NEVER TO WRITE ME AGAIN I CAN AT LEAST REMEMBER A LADY WHO TOOK THE GLOOM OUT OF MY ROOM IF FOR ONLY ONE LOVELY NIGHT
YES, BLESSED LADY, YOU WERE PRECISELY RIGHT
SHE'S TOO COOL FOR SCHOOL

rusting statues coverd in barniccles
lined up in rows along the beach
tetherd not moving
some high some low coverd in sand
some standing tall where they stand
metal objects that stand and glare out to sea they watch
passing ships, passing bye, like floating snails on the sea
slowly going there on there way
Metal statues they are gaurding the beach night and day
many they are not sleeping , bye night or day
rusting metal statues standing tall and proud tetherd to where they stand
people passing saying hello
dog peeing on them as they go
people from far and wide visiting them as the stand and glare

Sunday, you caught me....no sleep, a cramp in my leg
A computer crick in my back
Yet the morns all the nicer for that nice trip
I just took through imagination
Along with YOU.

She stands and listens to the wind
sing a tune across time and space
the gentle throb of a lonely ache
she listens to his beating heart
She stands and sings to the wind
a quiet song about space and time
the ebb and flow of a restless soul
she speaks to his anxious mind

Bangladesh- a name
Bangladesh-a darling piece of poetry
Bangladesh-a loving mom
Caressing her all children
From dawn to dusk.
And now tears rolling down on her chick
Flaring like the dew on tender grass
As Pakistan army murdered
3000000 people
In a genocide.
Oh my mother Bangladesh-a piece of poetry!
please be appeased
we are here to remember your martyr-child
And pay homage to their unspoken souls.
