Journey Above

???

journey above

never say goodbye
to the ones you love
just wish them well
on their journey above
only time will tell
how the heart will mend
when i journey above
and we meet again
so much time
has gone past
that my happiness
won't return
untill we're together
at last
you promised a love
so long and true
but G-D
had other tasks
in Heaven
for you to do
for you
i see no more pain
i see no more stress
because i know
your soul
has moved on
to a much better address
i will love you
always and forever
and i will forget you

MY DEAR SWEET SISTER ANNETTE

MY DEAR SWEET SISTER ANNETTE,I WISH THAT YOU WERE STILL HERE WITH ME. BUT I GUESS ACCORDING TO JESUS.IT JUST WASN'T MENT TO BE. EVERY DAY I MISS YOU MORE AND MORE,AND TEARS FALL FROM MY EYES. HOPING THAT YOU ARE WATCHING OVER ME.IN THE BEAUTIFUL BLUE SKIES. GOD KNEW WHAT YOU NEEDED .MUCH MORE THAN I EVER DID. YOU WERE A TRUE WONDERFUL BLESSING.MY SWEET SISTER,MY FREIND . IN THIS BIG CRUEL WORLD ,YOU FELT THAT YOU HAD TO BE TUFF. BUT JESUS TOOK YOUR HAND AND SAID NO,ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. SO ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT YOUR BIG SISTER LOVED YOU. BECAUSE I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT YOU LOVED ME TOO. ANNETTE KAYE TURNER VAUGHN 1963-2009

Requiem for a Lost Soul

I hold
set my spirit free
hear the waves of the ocean
faithfully aboard the cold
close my eyes and dream
like ripples on the water
beyond the abyss
the echoed voice of hope
my soul has run aground

For Daddy

To Daddy

Daddy – sorry not to see you before I passed away
Mummy was so hoping that you’d come up and stay.
We waited nearly for a year – but you did not arrive
I did so want a visit while I was still alive.

Oskar feels the difference – now I am not around.
We loved each other’s company; when Mum worked we found
A partnership together – and now he’s all alone.
He offers her some comfort, their sadness to condone.

Before I died she cut some hair – a keepsake to review.
She had it made into a pendant, “A gift from you”
She called it – and now its come it is a part
Of me forever. She wears it near her heart.

We were a family, once, she said, the four of us, so close.
I’ll never know what happened – why you became morose…
I loved you still, no matter what – I know you loved me too
Now here’s my hair that Mummy cut. She gives the rest to you.

About this poem:
My little dog Chloe, sadly died March 1st this year. I had a snip of her hair made into a pendant which I could wear round my neck. We had hope my former partner would be able to visit her before she died. Sadly this was not the case. It's just me and the cat, Oskar, now.

Epitaph

I know not what you could have been
A saint so pure or full of sin
I pray only that your happy now
And if my seed, my love is vow

MAKE LOVE

MAKE LOVE

Making love is more than sex
It is an art that goes beyond the skin
Undress a soul, calmly
and surrender without fear
nor modesty.
It is a divine act
infinite enjoyment
is to make the body
an instrument of sublime pleasure
with passion and tenderness
where desire flows like water from a hot bath
and the words sound like poems
that the lips describe
and the hands print
for anatomy
sliding like foams
exhaling sensual odors
that numb the senses
chanting sighs;
and the bodies of lovers
explode in a lustful tremor
of total enjoyment ...

I'm sorry

I'm sorry i dont give you happy thoughts to think out loud,
I'm sorry if my words are dark and and always seem so proud,
I'm sorry if that my venom is a twisted visage,
of a former self conflicted, with a hatred that left me gifted,
with darkness heart thats torn apart destroyed by earnest witches.

but once upon a mid day dreary,
a soul laid waste and left with fury,
mans gods were there but didnt care,
as evil stalked, with pensive stares.

but once a womans hands have wrought,
the fetished evil that they've got,
and laid to waste a soul not bought,
twas heavens hands to which he fought.

a fathers place is by their side ,
protected by his handsom light,
and if he fails in his charge ,
he deserves wrath of the devils march.

I'm sorry that you cannot see,
i'm sorry you will never speak,
I'm sorry if they cast a stone,
u should not stand at the gates alone.

I'm sorry i dont give you happy thoughts to think out loud,
I'm sorry if my words are dark and and always seem so proud,
I'm sorry if that my venom is a twisted visage,
of a former self conflicted, with a hatred that left me gifted,
with darkness heart thats torn apart destroyed by earnest witches

Learning poetry III - Carnival Carousel (Roundel)

Carousel inn on highest peak,
Round and round they quickly spin,
Beacon invites as we speak,
Carousel inn.

Tent for a carousal din,
Memories lost they seek,
Floating feets under Natures basin,
Festive aura sound and reek.

Flying with the spinning wind,
Emotions fast and thick,
Carousel inn.

About this poem:
The ROUNDEL is a deritave
of rondeau and rondine... It has
eleven lines constructed from two
quatrains, and a triplet.
The rhyme scheme only has two
rhymes and a refrain from the first
phrase of first line, thus, the second
line rhymes with the refrain:.. a. b.
a.B . b. a. b . a. b. a. B..
example:
If he could know my songs are all
for him,
At silver dawn or in the evening
glow,
Would he not smile and think it but
a whim,
If he could know?
Or would his heart rejoice and
overflow,
As happy brooks that break their
icy rim
When April's horns along the
hillsides blow?
I may not speak till Eros' torch is
dim,
The god is bitter and will have it so;
And yet to-night our fate would
seem less grim
If he could know. --- Sara Teasdale
