What if I said I don't care
About each imperfection
I see a different woman
Than you see in your reflection
I see a kind and gentle soul
When I look into her eyes
I see true emotions
Every time she cries
I see a woman
Who wants nothing more
Than to be with a man
She can love and adore
And to have that man
Love her the same
Not for just one night
Not for some game
She wants a love
That will last forever
One that will survive
Through every endeavor
That's what I see
When I look at you
So tell me now
Is that all true
Stop keeping it all in
It's okay to cry
My arms are here for you
Just give them a try
Please let me show you
I can give you what you need
You no longer have to beg
You no longer have to plead
The desires you harbor
I have them as well
It's okay to reveal to me
The things you could never tell
Let me put back together
What was taken apart
Give me all the pieces
Of your broken heart
If you give me a chance
You will soon see
Just how true love
Is meant to be
It's meant to make you grateful
That you're still living
It's the love you want to receive
It's the love you want to be giving
It's the kind that heals
And never harms
It's the protection you feel
When your in my arms
It's the love you feel
Every time we kiss
It's the greatest gift
And the ultimate bliss
I want to hold you
I want to kiss you
I want to love you
I want... You

About this poem:
This was written for those who know the true meaning of love, those who use their hands for holding instead of hitting and those whose loyalty is so great that there is no substitute for their significant other.

There lies a portal deep beneath
the silent sands of time,
an entrance to life's journeys
with some reason, little rhyme.
It reappears and disappears,
it waxes and it wanes.
It contemplates and correlates
the common and insane.
Some seconds and some centuries
may pass while you await,
the openings and closings
of this celestial gate.
You'll never know when it may show
for them or you and me,
Euclidean equations of life's
passage--don't you see?
Don't hesitate, don't ruminate
walk confidently through
engaging in the mysteries
created just for you.

I want all my lovin' from you
There's nobody else that would do
I promise I'll always be true
For me, there's nobody else but you.
I’ve known you for so very long
There's no way that we could go wrong
That's why I'm writing this song
Because it's with you I belong
(bridge)
And if you start feelin' lonely
I'll sit and talk with you a while
And if you'll be my one and only
I promise I will make you smile
Just like a happy child...

Walking around in the park,
Won’t be long until dark
Thinking about all the times that we had
Wishing things hadn’t turned bad
All those things we did together
Things that we could have done better
Pictures of you that I took at the beach
Now it seems as though you’re out of reach
Won’t you come back to me?
I know this is something meant to be
Look at your number up on my wall
Thinking that maybe I’ll give you a call
Asking if you could see me tonight
Hoping that maybe it would be right
Now that I’m sitting here with you
I’m not really sure what I should do
Searching for something that I could say
Words that would make you want to stay

About this poem:
Wrote this song about someone I know, sort of made it up as I wrote. I like the story line.

A pale crescent moon hung low in the sky; though the lake fairly glittered with light
Her eyes shone bright as leaves skittered by with the wind on a cold dark night
An owl swept by on its endless quest and her breath blew frost in the cold
As she waited for something to give her rest from a story that’s never been told
Chorus
And he sat alone in a quiet cell while he thought of what to do
With a looking glass and an old sea shell to make his dreams come true
Morning came softly as the moon sinks from sight, And the shadows hide from the light
He crossed the field over, and found her there with shadows of moonlight dancing through her hair
(Chorus, last line twice")

About this poem:
I joined a songwriters group once, the first night we were given a short assignment to write a song including the lines "cold dark night" and "pale crescent moon". We were supposed to write one verse, but I wrote this out on the spot. Didn't even know I could do that.

She calls to me in my dreams
Lures me outside at night
Hiding amongst the shadows
Keeping out of sight
The howling winds carry
Her whispers through the air
I hear her words
I know she's out there
The dark enchantress beckons
Through the branches of the trees
I feel myself being pulled in
By the evening's breeze
But why won't she show herself
What does she have to hide
She doesn't come to me
She summons me outside
There must be some reason
Why she comes to my place
But tonight is the night
We meet face to face
It's time to find out
What she wants with me
It's time to discover
What she doesn't want me to see
So I venture off into
The woods behind my house
Determined to end
This game of cat and mouse
Deeper I searched
Observing each shadow
One of them had to be her
But how would I know
She's got to be nearby
I don't have any doubt
There's nothing more I could do
So I called out
Please show yourself
This is going to far
Why are you hiding
Show me who you are
The shadows converged
And started to swirl
Manifesting into
A gorgeous girl
I couldn't believe what I was seeing
This has to be one of my dreams
But I was wide awake
As crazy as it seems
You're so beautiful I said
I thought you would be a horror
Tell me why you haven't
Shown yourself before
She smiled at me
And took a deep breath
I belong to the shadows
I am born from death
Your moon is my sun
Your dreams are my reality
We could only be together
Through your fatality
But you say you see my beauty
And I see yours as well
I couldn't ask you to submit
To the toll of death's bell
Never have I seen more kindness
In one person's heart
You remain compassionate
In a world that's falling apart
Every time I see you
I shed a tear
I want you in my world
But you're needed here
I couldn't believe it
As I looked into her eyes
But her words were true
She didn't tell any lies
But you know I live
Here on my own
Every single night
I sleep alone
I'm willing to forfeit
This existence I call life
I'd end it now
With the injection of a knife
I try to be kind
But the world is my enemy
I give all I've got
And it gives me misery
She smiled and said
That kindness brought me to you
As much as I want you
Your time isn't through
I promise you this
There will come a day
When we will be together
And we will get away
Until that day comes
Remain who you are
Although we're worlds apart
I'll never be too far
Her black wings engulfed me
Encasing me tight
She kissed my lips then whispered
My sweet love, good night
As I woke up to the dawn
In my hand was a dark feather
A symbol of her promise
That we will one day be together

My heart is tearing apart as i cry out
in pain begging for some relief.
I did not know i would end up here at
this moment or time in my life.
I want only to provide for you.
I do not want you to feel my pain.
I drop to my knees crying out
in prayer to you Lord wanting you my
heavenly father to help me through this
obstacle in my life.
I tell myself just have faith.
I see no other job in site for me.
Yet i keep on traveling down this
road that you have put me on LORD.
You have always met my needs
before i even knew i had them.
Therefore where is my disbelief.
There still is this little question
if i can pay bills after this next month.
I just keep reminding myself to keep
the faith and rely on GOD.

online today!
Yesterday night,I sketch the line between love & hate,
As I teach in algebra in college days..
Each of them located at a boundless end.
Love is a maze, a unfathomable line.
If love is inauspiciously intersected by hate
And in fact, requires no missing fractions
If loyalty is other than acute or obtuse angle,
Then, lies and evasions could be the result.
To preserve the future of a relationship,
I should multiply my smooth words of love,
Subtract and divide errors to show clemency,
And add more emphasis in term of forgiveness.
The concept of love is accessible to follow
And simultaneously ambiguous to comply with.
As long as the rules or theorems aren’t infringed,
Misconception and failure are formidable to reach

When I was a child, I spoke, thought,
and reasoned like a child, But when I became
a man, I put away childish things
Corinthians 13:11
A poem from the bible that relates to our life
today Sunday or the Lords Day and what better way
way to spend it than to write a poem as we
evolve into to an adult but still not able to express
those thoughts, as a boy we have crushes of love but they
do not know you exist and its so hard to explain
what our heart feels in these overwhelming thoughts
but now as an adult those feelings as still there as
we are afraid to express ourselves in fear
of being rejected or not having our feelings accepted
The difference is we must now relate those thoughts into
words without fear because we cannot hold them
within ourselves any longer regardless of the outcome so
we write them as poetic verses in a poem of love
to have an outlet for the words of the heart.

I found this
Broken on the ground
You must not want it
If you leave it laying around
It's in pretty bad shape
It's been kicked and trampled
Maybe it was just
Something you sampled
It's missing some pieces
I don't think it can be repaired
You shouldn't have taken it
If you never cared
They're not easy to fix
Some can't be at all
No matter what you do
Or who you call
You have to be careful
For these are very frail
Breaking them is a crime
Although you won't go to jail
Some people give theirs away
Without a pause
They don't think about
The pain it could cause
They can go on living
But they might never heal
From mistaking a game
For something they thought was real
I guess I'm one of those
Who made that same mistake
I still haven't learned
What's real and what's fake
Although you've damaged it
I guess I'll take it back
Since an interest in it
You obviously lack
So I'll leave you alone
And try to make a new start
Even without the missing pieces
Of this broken heart
