I do close to nothing most everyday
endless indignation impedes my way
Inescapable depression my Kryptonite
so draining it negates ability to fight
In a paralyzed fetal position I lay crying
attacks of panic from thoughts of dying
Decaying inside whispering walls
frantic for someone to hear my calls
Personal demons often infiltrate my mind
ways to avoid them I am unable to find
Faith is gone but hope shan't reach dead
will to live hangs by the thinnest thread
I've become consumed by sorrow
inducing me to dread tomorrow
Home depicts a lonely prison cell
'Save me' from my personal hell
In this utterly wicked world I don't belong
life the alleged "Gift" turned out horribly wrong

If Only I Could
Our pretzel world I'd completely turn around
faze out evil so perpetual good becomes sound
Any resemblance of wrong I'd change back to right
firmly stress sin denies entrance into the light
'Equality' would actually be actuality
and 'Justice For All' absolute reality
Eradicate poverty throughout Earths' population
not one would ever fall victim to starvation
Sensible laws guaranteeing bad people wouldn't last
crime inevitably becomes a memory of our past
War indubitably becomes obsolete
peace and love reigns not deceit
All pledge allegiance to honesty, compassion, and tolerance
every decision rendered must reflect common sense
This world's transformation a truly desirable place
one planet of humans committed to faith and grace
If Only I Could...

I can't stop being in love with you
have we actually reached through
Our vow I believed could never die
you forever I committed to stand by
In love you no longer show
but passion hasn't died I know
We should continue to try
don't make us say goodbye
I can't Imagine my life without you
their must be remedies we can pursue
What wilted we can again make grow
Please 'Let's not let us go'
Give us more time to make things right!
our only choice isn't giving up the fight
The love we shared defined true blue
we can turn us back into brand new
The regret of losing one another could come to be
we need be certain before letting each other go free
I'm more than willing to do whatever it takes
'let's not let us go' for goodness sake's
Only with you am I able to feel bliss
let's start over with another first kiss

"LIFE IS A GIFT" according to some alleged deity
what god gives a 'gift' wrapped in atrocity
At some point everyone must question that concept
how could you not considering life's mostly inept
If life's some great gift what happened to mine
maybe it wasn't meant for me to be in that line
My heart constantly bleeds due to human sorrow
for too many life's supposed gift rings hollow
People suffer needlessly on this god-forsaken Earth
ask them what their 'Gift of Life' has been worth
How about "Gifts" born physically and/or mentally unfit
their life wouldn't qualify as a 'Gift' you must admit
I didn't willfully choose to become some pessimist
this pathetic excuse of a world tops reasons list
I'm cognizant this life was a so-called blessing from above
a REAL LOVING GODS 'gift' would've been all about love
Obviously 'Gift' has different meanings because life's no present
ONE absolute about our existence is it's unequivocally unpleasant

I am a true Old-Fashioned Gentleman
which means I'm just a Simple Man
Without question a dying breed
selfless and manners my creed
Being the good guy can be cumbersome too
"Nice Guys Finish Last" doesn't have to be true
I'm chivalrous to a fault I can honestly say
couldn't imagine being any other way
Bliss for me is being reason behind others joy
my personality is synonymous with 'coy'
Yes I am owner of a heart as big as any
the times it's been broken surpassed many
When it comes to woman I have an insatiable appetite
assuring their satisfaction first always felt right
Tooting my own horn I have never been about
staying A Simple Man in these days deserves a shout
I relish the fact that in good ways I differ from the rest
early on I realized being the opposite of others was best
by doing much more listening than talking I gained prudence
I also ascertained many love to speak but few make sense

Every February Nascar and Daytona bring you 'The Great American Race'
a 'Victory Lane Trophy' drivers feel is THE most satisfying to embrace
The 500 begins each season for the most intrepid competitors on earth
experiencing a race live is the only way to appreciate it's actual worth
Racing inches apart at 200 plus mph requires inexplicable desire
this 2.5 mile track guarantees side by side intensity wire to wire
A concern always at this speedway is surviving the dreaded 'Big One'
fans crave the imminent crash as long as the injury report is none
I get never winning a Daytona 500 is disappointing but not the worst
many before and many more will fail to cross any finish-line first
Implying no Daytona 500 negates an otherwise stellar career is a crime
ONE isn't assured so shouldn't 55 make you one of the best of all time
Racing made it possible for unknowns worldwide to become big stars
just good ole boys who's lives revolve around driving fast cars
The originators couldn't know circling repetitively was bound to thrive
Petty, Earnhart , Pearson, and many more greats helped make it survive
Nascar knew being family friendly and fan importance was of the utmost
they give back plenty and to millions they have become a worthy host

online today!
sometimes I'm amazed
at how stale and stubborn
I have become
and even out of sync with time
but then since you left
I don't have any reason
to keep track of moment
that comes and goes
I din't even know
summer is gone
fall, too, is now buried
deep in the snow
somehow I am anticipating
the new birth of tomorrow
but here I am still nursing
in my yesterday's sorrow
I am never wishing
that our past would come back
hell no!
it's just that I wish
the wound heals
and my mind forgets
all these pains and heartaches
and I will be in sync
with the world and time
again..like it used to be
before I met you.

You turned your back on me a few moments ago, just brobably didn't think about what you've done.
In the beginning you promised me your love, but this is what it all become.
You ripped my heart out, shot it to pieces before you put it in again.
I'm not sure if i ever will become what i once was and even if i do, i don't know when.
Tears falling over the keyboard, tears of sadness and pain.
The feeling boils over and goes out of control, its impossible to restrain.
The only thing left to do is grabbing something and hope it holds.
you blew my soul to pieces and all i got left is a lost heart full of holes.

Throughout my life I've heard "Life's What You Make It"
surely a worthy theory but nowhere near 100% legit
There are copious reasons that make it untrue
the most relevant stems from how others treat you
People who feel threatened maliciously try altering your condition
it may be simply your integrity conflicts with their disposition
They methodically spin truth to make you look bad at work
It's the honest hard worker who loses out to the deceptive jerk
Jealousy is another motivator for those who choose to spite
when amongst co-workers the Two-Faced culprits act polite
The vindictive will stop at nothing if out to get you
but hey "Life's What You Make It"...it must be true
If another jeopardizes your livelihood you could justifiably snap
I get why some go postal considering all the mental abuse crap
Work breeds drama and back-stabbing is a constant not fake
don't purposely shut your eyes to truth for goodness sake
Overwhelming experience is my proof and TRUTH I treasure
convincing who can't comprehend would truly give me pleasure
Acknowledge "Life's What You Make It"...is not absolute reality
if you are unable to grasp these facts...maybe it's your mentality

About this poem:
I can't be the only one who has been screwed (numerous times) at a job. Taunted, lied about, turned into the bad person when 100% right. I was pushed to the edge a couple of times (postal pushed).
Point being, others can derail your plan of making it...........

I never care to venture away from home
thoughts of doom frequently roam
Despondent because life's so f*cking unfair
my reality is emptiness and despair
On occasions I must get out
interacting I'm fearful about
I wish I could just be invisible
whats out there defines why I'm miserable
Pain inside blanketed by joke
optimism forever broke
What I want don't mean shit
decisions always split
Don't know what or how to feel
what can I do to help me heal
I'm afraid about losing touch
Save me from my demons clutch
