Black“Black.
My world falls inside a grave;
I can hear the funeral rhythm;
Humming algorithm, on the stave.
Black.
The worms are sages of this cave;
I could just see who craves –
For such a heart I gave; -
Black.
In this darkness, sorrow –
For my beloved sparrow,
Which I could not save –
Black.
So many memories, lost,
- Dreams entangling waves;
What for?! For what cost?!..
Black.
My lungs are filled with grief
And seems the whole earth
Crushing me, slowly; slowly…
Black.
A lonely beast; without relief,
- An ivy root killing its leaf
For a song – going lowly;
Black.
Deeper; deeper; up to where
There’s nothing to bear –
For what is death, or birth?!..
Black.
I have nothing left; only sins; –
I don’t know what means
A hell to which I’m going.
Black.
Which one, really loses or wins,
- If in the grave mourns a terrible beast,
Under this creased veil of my genes?!..”©Th3Mirr0r(2017-2019)

White"White.
The nature embraced my muse,
And all, of sudden, came to life;
My grave is now full of marble eyes.
White.
The saints blessed my wedding;
I could just hear who dies –
There was the bard and his muse; -
White.
The candles rise higher, such heart -
Which one trembles, craving for death?
An epitaph from leaves, to my wife –
White.
All the stars gathered to the opera,
Where everyone finally cried;
Their eyes had tears dressed in white.
White.
The silent sword shines along the ocean
As thy bliss enwraps around the ring,
With my quill blessed by God;
White.
There must be an oath, written in white;
My words flow silently, as I sing,
Touching the bowing harp of a swan –
White.
Along the wave, the sky shimmering my love;
O, beloved! Remember?! I cried –
And my head, at your chest, is listening echoes…
White.
Over this slab, an offer to God;
The incense fills my soul with joy;
My white mantle covers a muse.
White.
Take my hand, beloved one,
- And walk along this beautiful path,
Leaving this world covered by peace!..”

He had half a mind he could only write half a song
He tried and tried half would be right half would be wrong
He was always halfway to somewhere then wait to watch the sinking sun
Too bad he couldn't make it all the way there when he was young
He had half a mind and it began to show
Though his heart was full of love and dreams meant to be gold
He only had half the words to say to a girl he loved so
He was always halfway to somewhere so the story goes
You know how it will end with nothing new to know
He worries about half a memory as the sun is sinking low
He seems a little distracted at times when someone says hello
Always halfway to somewhere but no place to go

Lady don't shake my hand if that's how you plan to say goodbye
You could have told me straight out then there would'nt have been any doubt
You never had feelings for me
And I would have gotten over you and my love for you would die
And now after all these years there are suttle hints once again
I don't know why it's this way
And as the wind blows the falling leaves on this autum day
This thought comes to mind lady please don't shake my hand
Don't let my heart persuade you to be careful what to say
For fear you might hurt me believe me I will understand
I'm sorry and you are sorry let it be that way
Just one thing lady please don't shake my hand

Sunday has become so loaded down
With so many competing activities
Many people are burdened by choices
Moreover on this day meant for families
To get together and enjoy a day of rest
A time each week to do as we please
Free from the obligation of our work
Free from the scheduling of all activities
Outside of the observances of peace
When Sunday’s load will be lightened
And people can take a sigh of relief
Give thanks and practice their beliefs
Once again make joy celebrate and feast

About this poem:
I argue for the return of the "blue laws" and give Sunday back
it's truly meaningful role as a day of rest once again for families.

I use to write of love but I won't anymore
I won't mention the feelings I had at the start
And if she were to look for me she might find a familiar face
But she won't find me I'm hidden away in a concrete heart
A heart can only hurt so long then it finds a way to turn to stone
Could there have been a love story could there have been a love song
And I forget those feelings the pain became too sharp
What is there to say when love is hidden away in a concrete heart
Now tears only make it to the edge of my eyes and never fall anymore
If my eyes turn red I ignore that and play it smart
And if she were to look for me she might find a familiar face
But she won't find me I'm hidden away in a concrete heart

"The Quotes Garden"

Last wish“Stay.
With me – the dying one
Who takes away your joy
Without the longing whisper;
Stay.
A moment – before I’m gone,
Without to even ask you, muse,
Where’s the cradle of a little boy; -
Stay.
And beat – a pulse within a twister;
The last one finding and excuse
For such a sudden leaving…
Stay.
To feel; to sigh; to mourn;
I’ll be right there – right there!
- Near this tomb.. and gently, waving…
Stay.
And dream; then let it float away…
For this last minute, I was born;
For this last one, - for you, so rare;
Stay.
With me, beloved. Let me mourn…
I’ll take your hands over my chest,
For all the tears that you are saving;
Stay.
And let me be. A memory…
Another story written in a hurry;
- But let me keep your glare!..
Stay.
A sigh; - the last one, out of worry,
My dying wish, one minute more
Before to take last breath of air –
Stay.
Your eyes – these sparkles crushing emery –
What torns my heart in such a heaving,
- Mirroring the core for which I’m grieving?..”

If we could release the hurt that goes back generations
Just think of what a great world we could build together
When forgiveness is not swept aside like dust in the wind
When forgiveness gives a very human touch to offenses
As long as were ready to move on together in this world
We should be ok or what ever else humanity can devise
I just predict when bright minds are allowed to get together
To discuss the important issues that need to be addressed
This world will likely come together like nobody else

Sideshow attraction
cold clever pieces
from Murphy's pages
we were estranged
in the east
where once I told you
I loved you
the boys on the front
ease the hours
writing home
my cigar winters
summer port
give time to remember
when your figure
and spirit
were vaguely lost
beneath the sails
I tell you this
yesterday's blue hue
gave no more
honeysuckle reason

Midday or midnight
A motto I live by,
I’M SAFE IN THE LIGHT!
What’s under my bed?
Some creature I dread
I’M SAFE IN THE LIGHT!!
These shadows I see
‘Til shallow I breathe
I’M SAFE IN THE LIGHT!!!
Those critters that creep
And nip at my feet
I’M SAFE IN HIS LIGHT!!!!
The monsters that growl
And upset my bowels
I’LL STAY IN THE LIGHT!!!!!
When jitters make sleep
But a sliver less deep
I’LL WAIT FOR THE LIGHT!!!!!!
Sun? Moons’ made a clearing
So hasten appearing
MAKE SAFE IN YOUR LIGHT!!!!!!!

About this poem:
Comfort for those who need it. What is life but light and darkness? Choose. Just a few moments, hrs, days more, then the dawn…embrace it wholly!
