THE MUSE: EDELWEISS – Poetic Pillars – Monads: The Harp - XXXI - The song of the birch tree leaf

THE MUSE: EDELWEISS – Vol. I
*** Part III: Poetic Pillars – Monads: The Harp ***
[ XXXI ]
*** The song of the birch tree leaf ***

“This leaf
Knows what
Is love –
Shares the bliss
When buds
Like twins
Cheer the spring
With chirps
And odes; –

*** Root ***

Here comes
The shy mare
To stir
In waves
The smell of
Meek grass,
While bright
Birch trees
Play knights; -

*** Root ***

I know
Not less,
Nor more –
But all
It takes
To write
Each song
For one
To miss – ”

Tears

the tears I've cried for you have welled up in me
from the bottom of my heart, and traveled upwards
on a journey to my eyes cascading like a waterfall
spilling down gentle slopes, resting in pools of azure
where love lives, sheltered from the worlds, alone
in mirrored reflections

THE MUSE: EDELWEISS – Poetic Pillars – Monads: The Harp - XXX - Sap milk

THE MUSE: EDELWEISS – Vol. I
*** Part III: Poetic Pillars – Monads: The Harp ***
[ XXX ]
*** Sap milk ***

“Strong wind
Whisk off
Thy nest
From this
Old branch,
In a
Mourn song, -
Wings float
In the air; –

*** Root ***

Through the cracks,
Small springs
Keep buds
In foil –
While keen,
Red ants
Move up
And down
Sap milk; -

*** Root ***

In these
Moon-like
Shapes of
Pale curls
And leaves
In furls,
Nurse maids
Wear gold
Ray skirts – ”

911 - 22 Years Later

Twenty two years ago on September 11th
3,000 shining new stars dotted the Heavens
Did these 3,000 souls die in vain
Did their families hopelessly suffer the pain

To see our Nation now so divided
Why couldn’t we have stayed solidly United
We should take pause and remember everyday
The great sacrifice those who served have paid

So that we can continue to live our lives freely
From past, present and future oppression and tyranny
I was so proud of my Country that day
I wish we could be united the same way today

We are all Americans who united as one
Are invincible and indivisible with the help of God and His Son
We need to turn to Him and ask for His grace
To truly make us the United States!

We should remember our great loss 22 years ago today
And let us always continue to pray
That our great Nation will be united together
And God to Bless our Country’s future forever!

I Didn't Know

I don't have a big spacious home I don't have a brand new car
I don't live upon a hill with a view that looks so serene
I didn't know how to get such things

I guess I was dumb and when I was young
I didn't know what tomorrow could bring
I just didn't know I didn't know

And now it's too late to find a way
And it is sad to wake up to an empty day
And I'm the only one to hear the words I say

I guess I was dumb when I was young
And now the repetition of wishful thinking has me feeling low
But I just didn't know how to get such things I didn't know

And now when I walk through a small town and take a look around
Now I've got time to think I've got time to dream and the funny thing
It's the same feeling wherever I go the feeling of I didn't know

my love

My dear love, tears are draping down my lonely face
As the memories of us had gone down to waste
Would it be that my tomb be adorned by thy grace
As you will come and lay down a rose, to my grave.

Indeed I say to you...I wont feel so doomed,
When you come once in a while drifting on my tomb
I wouldn't be so sad, I would dance under the moon
If love would still be in your heart, I would not mourn
Oh lovely my heart and soul in our zone, would roam..

Spring will come and a new cycle begins
Just like the petals blooming in the new dawn
I will be longing for you deep in my dreams
And waiting I shall be here every morn
For your visit so I won't be so alone

My love I have not grieved nor will I cry
I have given all that I could and so did you
But time do comes when parting is just
A matter of words and goodbyes
But deep within our hearts will always be us.

Toying with Pan

For I once was here
amongst the daffodils and streams
in a quiet afternoon dance
with you alone
silhouetted as we were
against the trees
in the majesty
of a dying season
and though we did toy with Pan
reeling in the wild spaces
and did you hear the flute my love?
or the lyre played softly?
along the river edge
within the rushes
over the marsh
and beyond
as it takes you
takes you on
to evening grace
in the verandahs
of my mind

THE MUSE: EDELWEISS – Poetic Pillars – Monads: The Harp - XXIX - The lair

THE MUSE: EDELWEISS – Vol. I
*** Part III: Poetic Pillars – Monads: The Harp ***
[ XXIX ]
*** The lair ***

“In the lair
Of the mole,
Few crumbs
Left from
Last feast; –
No one
To dare
Walk in
This maze; –

*** Root ***

All the worms
Of the earth,
Must have
Known of
Such beast,
- For in
Their scare,
Sink deep,
To the east; -

*** Root ***

But the mice
- Lead the way
Out of
These caves,
Just as
If each,
Though dead,
To the light
Still craves – ”

THE MUSE: EDELWEISS – Poetic Pillars – Monads: The Harp - XXVIII - The crows

THE MUSE: EDELWEISS – Vol. I
*** Part III: Poetic Pillars – Monads: The Harp ***
[ XXVIII ]
*** The crows ***

“Right here,
- In these
Cold lands
Of snow,
Dull steps
Led me
To watch
Old trees
I miss –

*** Root ***

Here, the crows
Catch dreams
Out of
Each noise:
Gray, brown
- Torn branch,
In a
Slant fall
Of nuts; -

*** Root ***

But they, –
- These dark,
Drab ghouls
Which seems
To grab
In their
Harsh claws
My thoughts,
Were gone – ”

THE MUSE: EDELWEISS – Poetic Pillars – Monads: The Harp - XXVII - Truce

THE MUSE: EDELWEISS – Vol. I
*** Part III: Poetic Pillars – Monads: The Harp ***
[ XXVII ]
*** Truce ***

“Snails come
To feast –
Right here,
In the green,
Deep world
Of the grass;
- Have some
Dew juice,
At least!.. –

*** Root ***

From the east,
So keen,
Comes near –
This shy,
Sweet lass;
- Tell me
A story,
I have
No worry; -

*** Root ***

This rock
- Ticks fast,
While in
The new heart
A spree
Pour out
- In sluice
Of thoughts,
A truce – ”
