One more loss

If you look at the sky for a long time,
You will see the stars falling.
I'm throwing them for you out
Of the rainbow with my paw!
If you look at the sky for a long time,
You will see white white clouds,
Those are me and my comrades,
Running after each other
Across the rainbow!
If suddenly from a gray cloud,
The rain starts dripping
Onto the ground,
This is me and my comrades ,
WE MISS you...
AND WE start crying...

Jubilation of the rose

The jubilation of the rose
that it doth rest upon the heath
its florid courtly promise
Oh it is to a woman shed
by these, the bravest of men
both vigor and rectitude
for in youth apparent
we did look to release
much life from solitaire
return thee to the soil
these the spoils of heaven
such that all may rest again
within this earth

LADYCOUNTESSA

Emmanuel with us

If the truth
were to be
told
Christmas dinner
was cold
Yet my salmon
was fried
And was hot
when it
arrived

Air-fried
roasties
Carrots
and sprouts
Port cranberry
sauce
Blue plastic
knives
and forks

No Knife
to cut
the turkey
and ham
Looked like
we were
in a bit
of a jam

pulled from
my pocket
a fold up
heirloom
shaped like
a gun
no it wasn't
a spoon

Five inches
of Blade
suddenly
displayed
Wide-eyed
& open mouth
The Travellers
eyes
surveyed

broke
the silence
when I
made a joke
From then on
lots of giggling
yule tidings
& hope

The puppy
was home
And on
the mend
A wonderful
present
for Jesus
to send

Sensed our
Savior looking
upon us
with a smile
on His face
Watching His
children come
together
As the human
race.

Putter Gooder

Just putter gooder one on there
What are we talking about
The storm door on my house
With a trap door for a mouse
Why heavens sake do that for
Justa gonna ruin a good door
Still better than the one before
When a big snow comes around
The cat don’t want out no more
That’s the craziest thing I heard
You sure you don’t know for sure
Nope I can’t say for sure no more

It’s always fun to share a little hillbilly humor with you all in my native dialect……but we do make language fun up here in the Upper Appalachian Mountains….

shall we have another year?

where will fate deliver us?
to the moon and back, anew
it was a bumpy ride the first time
who dreamt we'd ever make it through?

yet, here we are today
as one...you and I
our voice and touch so soothing
as some distant lullaby

the hard part became simple
be loved and love as well
all turmoil surmounted
from the blessed day we fell

in love with one another
our hearts had opened wide
no earthly matters mattered
we had let go of pride

and now we hold all number
of that we deem as real
to hold our breath no longer
for tis happiness we feel

if today we are to die
our life together end
let it be, for we have found
our rare essential friend

Somebody Like You . . .

Somebody like you,
is who I'd want to be with forever ...
Somebody like you
is who I wish to make my days
more meaningful , colorful, and richer ...

Somebody like you
is definitely who I desire
to carve a trail of love and lust for each other ...
that would remain burning hot to the touch
from now to whenever ...

Somebody like you
is the one who can love me for who I am ...
Who can gladly take and appreciate
all the love, devotion , and care
that I will so selflessly, with you, share ...

Some people we meet are not meant to stay ...
Some persons we encounter only linger for awhile ...
But there are those exceptions
that may come our way ...
Somebody like you
with whom I can think in terms of forevermore ...
with whom I can see and feel
that rare elusive bond & connection
that reminds us of what true Love
is all about and for ...

Life as it is

I stood to strong for to damn long, i sat by and watched it all take place, a softened heart among many treasures i hold without a trace i found someone to see not to know dont let go, i walked through forever to find that dove, i carried the pain until she changed lanes and wasted my love, now i am just an old soldier without a gun, standing when i should run, such fun. Today i am now free as not many can see I’m buried underneath my favourite tree thanks to thee.

hey you ! a Christmas thought :)

Well Christmas is a time of cheer,
when most share love and a bottle of beer,
a time to get closer to the family,
maybe even a hello to aunty emily.

but to most here on CS,
Christmas could be a time of stress,
for thinking thoughts of family past,
yet really having wanted it to last.

and in this shortish message,
i dare to undertake,
remember what we're celebrating,
Christianity ! the birth of a Babe.

not fancy presents, Santas on sleighs,
a shopping frenzy, and many delays.
pictures of pine trees covered in snow,
and fairy lights blinking, competing to show.

let it be simple and wonderfully pure,
like fresh fallen snowflakes, a picture, i'm sure.
open your hearts and banish hard thoughts.
it's Chrsitmas for God's sake,
give, share and be happy.
not just take, and take and take . . .

Happy Christmas everybody. God bless.

In One Hundred Years

Once again winter’ll come into town in one hundred years,
Snowflakes’ll start falling down to ground in one hundred years,
I’ll be sitting again all aflutter beside you in one hundred years,
I’ll be kissing your hand, wrapped in passion, in one hundred years.

I still care for you same as back in the day,
Still not able to get over tears that you shed.
Saw you yesterday walk in the street once again,
In an anguish I covered my face with the hand.

We'll be sitting again in the garden in one hundred years,
We will quarrel again, you will go to your home in one hundred years,
Moon will be lighting my way to your house in one hundred years,
When you, oh my baby, will open me door in one hundred years.

I still care for you same as back in the day,
Still not able to get over tears that you shed.
Saw you yesterday walk in the street once again,
In an anguish I covered my face with the hand.

We’ll be probably one hundred thirty in one hundred years,
We’ll be probably missing our thirty in one hundred years,
We, old-timers, will still sit together in one hundred years,
When we’re so close to the Heavens in one hundred years.

I still care for you same as back in the day,
Still not able to get over tears that you shed.
Saw you yesterday walk in the street once again,
In an anguish I covered my face with the hand.

Once again winter’ll come into town in one hundred years,
Snowflakes’ll start falling down to ground in one hundred years.
And in snow-covered garden we, old-timers, may still sit together in one hundred years,
But all this in one hundred years, one hundred years.

In this day

In this day i cannot say why there eyes met with symmetrical position,
dying elevates the need for life.

recognition is an understanding don’t pretend,
the soul cries until the body denies such demise. listening to a fate sealed by the sealed, toxic enemies created by desire which emotion with ugly denomination,
falls guaranteed ill relief a drug a temptation to alter the alter,
to reset time, it does not exist now is when now began otherwise imagination was a terminal premonition fate foretold by few understood by one. empty barrels crash its gone its gone. Forgotten to grim this end will just begin.
