When only the wind blows...
Hard do the chimes ring
When only the cold froze...
Silence do the birds sing
When only the frost grows...
On glass ‘round its fringe
When only the time goes...
Sharpened by a bell’s ting
When only the embers glow...
Warm as home fires bring
When only hearts know...
Comfort found and cling
When only love prepose...
For all hopes take a wing
When only peace repose...
Great as a gentle king

soul of colored houses
hearts on broken ships
friendship a shelters storm
the rays of light show again
for the gates of heaven
were only a passing cloud

The shadow of your past lingers on
Like a soft petal of a rose
Frozen in your memory
Alas she found you, called out
And those frozen moments of time come alive
Unfurled, like a dream that shook you
In the wake of dawn
And like a dew that moistened the ground, her lips aching for you to drench,
Harvest it's glorious sweetness only you can, ,,trigger that pleasure she sorely miss in your absence.
Oblivion took reign of your existence
For a while nothing exists between you and her
And why not, she only left you temporarily
She told you, once her wings are full of silver and gold,
Like an eagle she will fly back to you
She promised
Now her future filled with the security of
What money can buy, alas she's back
If only to taste you one more time.
Perhaps even for a lifetime.
Don't worry about me, I surely understand.
I just knew it is just a matter of moments.
And so it is. I'm free and that's all that matters.
Good luck.
And yes, I have no regrets.
I can only thank you for the memories.

poems in silence
sparse as winter branches
leaving a few disheveled words
without a script

The rhythm of life
mirrors those famous daffodils
swaying to the tune of the wind.
Bending without breaking.
Needing only the sun and breeze.
Homo sapiens, a different breed.
Forever wanting this and that.
Having through time
developed an overwhelming greed.
Grey no trace of soft yellows.
All will sadly end one day.
Not so the yellow daffodils.
The fields will be full
with their gentle rhythms,
the swaying of golden heads
in the breeze of life.

Long golden hair hung down to her waist, such Beauty I have never seen.
For there she lay, one leg outstretched the other half bent with her back resting upon a tree
A snow white dove lay in her cupped hands resting upon bent knee
She turned and smiled at me as I walked by then raised her hands up high
The dove took to the air, I watched it circle in the sky
Then as I gazed back down to where my lady lay
To my surprise my Angel had gone and all that were left to be seen, where a pile of large white feathers, where once my lady had been.

About this poem:
It´s about an Angel, based on someone I had the honor of going out with.. She was indeed an Angel in every way to me and all that came in contact with.. A true friend. One that would not desert you when times got tough.

Your wit and brilliance
Your sense of humor unhinged
You made us all laughed, cried
And even dance
Now you're gone
This place mourning in your absence
Could it be that there's a chance
You'll be back
Even just for a glance?
I know you knew we loved you
Adored and even venerated you
As a friend, brother, and perhaps
Even as a lover
Please remember you'll always be
In our hearts
You're not far away
Your writes, your lines
Will forever grace this place
We will always be near you.
We love you Cafe.
May you forever rest in peace.

Do you know that shade of red
Existed in any collage of colors
Pastels of fragrance flowers
Never really seem grey and red
Next to an ol' red squirrel
Busting through some autumn leaves
Busy in his own thoughts
Less weary than before
As the seasons change
His life for evermore
What has always been
Season by season begins
With greatness and birth
Why this season ever ends
Mysteries of the Earth

The earth was formless for my unborn soul,
Which was in deep darkness of the deep sleep,
But with your talk, the faint whisper of rain,
You woke .........to open up my eyes.
Now like an eagle I can fly in this sky,
Which you created with colored hues for my soul.
Now I can see the blossoming grass, deep down,
to smell it like your fragrant curly hair.
In this sky of dreams, portrayed with your brush,
like a soaring eagle nurtured with golden rays
Ready to fade into the vanity of the puffy clouds
to fall as a dew drops into the depth of your soul
Even in the bleakness of the cold winter weather,
When lakes breaking into pieces with its subdued soul
Neither I can leave you..nor..forsake you
Even heaven enticed me with its bright eyes.
