I believe that our past is there to learn from and not to live in. We should help those who dwell too much on their past to not lose sight of the present, and help them to understand how to enjoy every day without taking it for granted. For the visionaries like myself, we look so far into the future that it compels us to strive harder to turn our dreams and aspirations into reality. Me personally, I want to help advance technology to make it more useful and accessible to all people and better their lives.

Past? Present? Future?
Hell, I'm in whole other dimension most of the time! And one that's worth my time at least. Speaking of time, how many times has this subject been written about? Now think how many times it's been written about on ALL the internet! And now th---- okay, I'll stop now.

Too many times short of one, lol! Yeah, my DeLorean keeps messing me up, past, future, damn you 1985! Still can't back to the present ... I forgot to set the clock before I left! Oh well!

Just don't be awake at 03:33:uhoh: weird time of night! I'm told all kinds of crazy stories happening about that time. You should see if Marty is ready to go back to the future to take you forward in time so you can enjoy your present and reminisce about the past so that you don't screw up in the future. Heu What time is it? My watch suddenly quit working.

Each moment we live, is the past.
We can't live in the future, so we have to make do with the present.

the past is the past and it can't be changed all we can do is live in the present to make the future better
Living too much in the Past or the Future is not good. The past can make us bitter or filled with regret, if the memories are not good. The future can fill us with anxiety. So it makes sense to live in the present and make the most of every minute of life.
But the past also holds the things that made the present. And also the happy memories.
The future will some day be the present, so what we do now affects it. We have to make plans or we won't have the present that we hope for.
Am I making sense?
While it seems like a cliche to say "live life in the present" we cannot do that 100 per cent. So I would say that its normal to live 10per cent in the past, 80 per cent in the present, and 10 per cent in the future. Weighing too much on the past or the future is not healthy, it spoils the present.

jac_the_gripper: I learned to read and write some time ago, ergo, I'm relying on the past as we speak and will rely on it in the future.
I don't think I could say I rely on the past. But I do acknowledge what I did in the past has shaped my present to some extent. But I do try not to live in the past. That is not helpful to the here and now.
