From my experience, boys have usually grown into men by the time they are in their thirties.

Nah, men aren't big babies...they just aren't afraid to let their inner child out often and I like that. I don't think video games has anything to do with it...hell, I still play them myself.

It is different for each man I have met. It actually seems to depend on the person. Does not matter if male or female. And some never do. that is the way of life. Don't think it is society, playstations, or xbox. From what I have seen it can be a combination of things. And it usually is that individual just don't like to face responsibility. then again I must wonder also is everyones perception of maturity the same? I hate when men freak out over stuff like cleaning up after pets. If they can't clean up after an animal, I never trusted them to parent a child or take care of me if I get sick. In the old days men used to do way more of caring for animals and that probably made them better people in many ways. I also can't stand fussy eaters. My dad plays this game where he will eat blueberry yogurt but he won't eat blueberry muffins and he might or might not eat blueberry jelly, etc. If he finds out food is from Aldis, he will nitpick it to death even though there is nothing wrong with it. He claims that he can't eat yogurt because it has sugar but he can eat peanut butter and jelly on white bread which is a sugar bomb. He can't eat fruit because it has too much potassium, but he can eat greasy hamburgers. He can't have any salt but he demands potato chips every so often. Endless crap like that. My mom used to get hysterical over it.

I think it depends on what you need a man to be..... I know some men at the age of 54 and 67 that does not know what the meaning of maturity means... not that they play play station. Just that they have no concept of understanding how to be a in charge of their past or future.I feel it is all relative to what you as a woman need from the person you are with.
