anto_d1975: no there's 7 billion people on the planet, I wouldn't worry about it. just on the point of todays society, what do you think is wrong with it? I mean a lot of things are better than they where 50 or a 100 yrs ago.
Do you not notice the way society pushes people around these days and it influences almost every aspect of our lives? The BBC news shows death, murder and destruction on a daily basis to the young innocents of this world, children are being pushed too hard to achieve at school at such a young age that they never get a chance to enjoy the simple, fun and adventurous things our generation did, computers, mobile phone, ipods etc have taken over the child's activity time and they are becoming antisocial, all the teenage pregnancies, the binge drinking, the profanities that these teenagers use are simply shocking, the "I want it now attitude" they have and the lack of respect they show to their elders, but the list goes on and on......

I'll probably catch heck for saying this but I've got strong shoulders.
Children being placed in daycare because mothers and fathers have to have the best by going in debt for it all.I have neighbors who's children are in daycare and their parents credit cards are maxed out to the point that the husband had to end up selling his boat and getting a totally different vehicle to drive cause they couldn't afford the payments on the new one.
Children who's parents are divorced they are brought right in the middle of the whole mess.Children shouldn't have to solve adult issues nor be used as pawns.
kennn: My oldest(my daughter), has chose not to have children. For me, it was important to have children. It is an individual choice and there is no right or wrong.
Yes I can totally understand your point of view, because you have got children and you believe it is right to have them, but you also accept that your son has decided not to have children and that makes you one of the good guys in my book

I voted no but if we all felt that way then the humam race would cease to exist. However by not opting to have children you are in danger of losing control of your country through immigration. Canada's child population has shrunk due to a lot of the younger people of today not wanting kids and by opening the floodgates of immigration we will eventually be controlled by the very people we let in. We have gone past the tipping point and it is now an inevitability that it will happen. Now in fairness we are all immigrants here with only the aboriginal peoples (native Indian) being here first. But who did they displace way back when. So it's all just conjecture for now but a definite indication of the way our future will be.

Yes I agree immigration is another huge problem in the world and greedy self serving politicians along with bankers are also another problem, but I won't open that can of worms at this moment

Nothing wrong whatsoever. I´m a child-free. My partner and I decided not having children for the simple reason we can't afford it, and I´m not talking about the economic issue .We are busy with our own lifes and we wouldn´t have any time to spend with them. I think having children is a serious responsability and not everyone is ready for it.

Spin, hamster, spin! That's self-serving rationalisation if I've ever laid eyes upon it. Let's just be glad that our ancestors didn't feel like this and did feel that it was right to have children, but then they were far superioir to what we are today... Don't people realise just how self-annihilating it is to answer no to this question.

But thanks for adding to the mountain of evidence(debt, low birth rate, open border chaos etc)of how White/Western people have abandoned the future to serve their immediate pleasure(s).
I can bet my life savings that strong & healthy races across the non-western world would much more likely answer yes to this question.
Never trust a woman without a sense of humour and never trust a woman who doesn't like kids. Those are the rules. I'm particularly repulsed by the women who have voted no.

There's nothings wrong with not having children. But not wanting to have children is questionable.
Any woman I met, single parent or otherwise will tell you that their kid/kids are their greatest gift. Some of tdays modern women have overlooked their ''main purpose'' for the sake of their independency(ie careers/ego).
I do like children but I always swore to myself that I am not going to be a single mother. That includes being in a relationship with someone who doesn't give a damn about his kids and doesn't want to change his lifestyle to be part of a FAMILY. Unfortunately, that is what I see looking at the majority of my female friends and it was also the idea of my ex. One of the main reasons why he is an ex.

Kendall42: If a person strongly feels that they would not be a good parent, then not at all.
I only get upset when people say they hate children. Just makes me wonder what egg they came out hatched and grown from.
Apart from my niece, I can't stand children. I've never wanted one, nor will I ever have one. I wasn't hatched from an egg either. My mum can confirm that much

I would rather see people put some serious thought and consideration into why they should or shouldn't have children unlike my biological parents who had eight of them and gave them up like pups in a litter.
I was totaly against having children until I was 36. I went to bed feeling exactly the same and woke up feeling the complete opposite. I just changed overnight.
people always talk about not bringing children into this world the way it is now. Well what about all those horrible times through out history where a child was lucky to live through childhood the times that make today look like paradise. If people thought that way through out history we would be extint. Whether you want children or not that's your choice.
