Rainbowdream--your commentary was the best I've seen. I do want to point out that many people are generalized about simply because they have an opinion, or a different opinion than some others. We are not all cut from the same cloth, and there will always be many individuals who do not embrace some of the modern movements. When is the last time you heard anyone criticize the Amish, simply because of their culture? Yet, they are as traditional as a butter churn. The men are most definitely considered way "above" the women, who are, by the way, told how to dress, when to speak, when to sleep, when to rise, when to get it on, etc... Understand my meaning here?

Just wanted to applaud you for being you: highly intelligent, compassionate(even in the face of many hardships) & extremely articulate, especially for someone's whose 1st language is not English. (I haven't entered these forums-except Games- since before I met you in poetry corner - they're often savage, as you well know - it takes guts/courage to do so, which I have, but also takes energy, which I don't currently have.) I'm amazed the record shows I've participated over 3,000 times in forums, probably 1,000 in Games threads(not usually hostile), but that still leaves 2,000 - sheesh

Even if one life is saved and mind open to make any, even the smallest of positive changes, given energy and time is not wasted.
I come a long way from 'modern - patriarchal family' and society, struggled with war trauma, crossed the big ocean, went through a period of grief for losing an old life, as well happily accepting new one and never stopped learning about self and everything else in life challenges ...falling down and getting up again and again....
Researching about all these matters of concern helped me to heal with things in my past personal life,as I wish it helps to someone esle....
