I'd say that around 500 would be a reasonable amount of women to have. And if some of them managed to escape you could always swap a few camels or goats in exchange for some new ones. A plentiful supply of women in this world can never be a bad thing.

Camels and goats are not always readily available.
I went on holiday with my daughter to Egypt a few years ago and a very persistant Egyptian man was trying to persuade my daughter that her mummy could be very happy with him....at a very reasonable price of one hundred camels!
My poor daughter was in tears!!
