I can just imagine on how we're viewed around the world.laugh

And to think we owe it all to our politicans too.laugh

On a serious note:All I know is that if our government doesn't quit playing 'Lets Make Deal' regarding the United States we may not have to worry or be concerned about how the rest of the world views us.

I recall something that Michael Landon stated just before he passed away."That we won't have to worry about another country coming over here and destroying us that we're doing a pretty good job on our own".

From some of the things I've wittnessed thus far going on within our country I believe what Mr.Landon said coming true and it's going to continue to happen.

Probably the more important question is how do Americans view themselves? If tomorrow morning America stopped being the most powerful country and some other country took over how would they see themselves. How would they feel about a shift in power?

Wouldn't change much really......the people do not own this country and haven't for some time now.....it would continue just as it is , the NEW rulers would rule just as our leaders are ruling now.....lets face it ANY country that has or will have or did have the power that America enjoys would be just as America is ....those are the real facts...wave

I doubt if it would make a difference if another country were to take over our country. We'd still be govern the very same way we are now.dunno

Er....well no. If we Trinbagonians ruled the world we'd make sure every country celebrated Carnival, had lots of public Holidays and 'liming' on a Friday afternoon would be manditoryprofessor laugh

hopefloats: That's why I hardly EVER say anything!
But that's okay...the country they live in is ALWAYS perfect.

True. Also, very sad. Wh have been asked for help so many times and everytime we give the help the rest of the world sees us as warmongerers.

The rest of the world needs to step up to the plate and give the assistance we are constantly being begged for by others.

Once the world starts to give the assistance, they too will be called War Lovers in time. Since this is not what the complainers want, they stay in the background, ignore the truth and put their spin on things. So sad.

We need to start refusing to help and take care of our own right here in our own backyard.

Once we, start this, then the pressure will be placed upon the ones that step up to the plate in our stead. Then they will find out what it is all about.
