Because you never know then or if you ever gonna get an answer from that person you are intrested in.

Well I guess if they rarely go online, it's probably a waste of your time anyway conversing Not much fun sending mail and flowers to someone who only pops on now and again.

And if you find that they have been online, and haven't responded to your mail, I would assume they aren't interested .. having their account cancelled is neither here nor there, I'd suggest.

I would imagine if they don't answer they are not interested. I guess the system is not set up for such a task. And certainly the mods are not going to rush around trying figure who is inactive. And then send out warning notices...it is just too ridiculous to even think about. It is a free site, one can do what one wants with their own profile. Can't think of anything that would help you.dunno

I think that's too short a time period, but... Was someone deleted after being inactive 3 months?

It says on thier Profile whether they were Online within the Month!
If you want to send a Message to a Profile that hasn't been active for a month and loner,it is your time to waste.
They might have been sick,or otherwise prevented from signing on!Had my Ticker operated on last year, and didn't sign on for two months!
Would have been kind of peeved if I'd found my Profile gone after I came back!laugh

This is how it went for me. I made my profile because my brother in law insisted and stood over me as I did it.roll eyes I never even checked the site out for about three or four months. And one day when I was in a deleting crazed frenzy I noticed I was deleting a email that said I had email here on cs. I emailed that guy for about six months. So I for one am glad my profile was not deleted.wave

What an incompassionate question to ask scold thumbs down

Definately NOT - For example - Even I as an agnostic can think of three immediate and logical humane reasons for saying NO

1. Any enforced removal over any period would be unfair to anyone acting within the CS rules and code of conduct.
OR,

2. If they were ill for any reason whatsoever for a long period and that can happen it especially if it was a mental illness through no fault of their own it could give them a relapse.

3. If for any reason they had no access to a computer, such as if it packed up on them and they could not afford to get a replacement.

When they recovered from the illness, incapacity or gained access again and found their profile was removed that would be totally unfair to anyone including you if such ever happened.

Of course not....

..I myself sometimes have periods when I abandon this service for months on end....

...maybe it should be done...but say over a period of a year minimum....if a person has not been on for over a year then maybe yes....
