On the subject of "job creation".

The government cannot ever create real jobs.
Only make-work jobs that have to be paid for through taxes.
And since the make-work project itself has to be financed with a lot of high administrative government positions and secretaries and overseers and accountants etc etc etc it all ends up costing taxpayers a lot more.

The best way to create real jobs is to slash government down to a minimum and strip away its powers to oppress, slash the military down to a minimum and strip away its power to agress, slash the national budget down to a minimum and strip away its power to tax.... etc etc etc

Liberty grows in the absence of totalitarianism.
And vice versa.

Sorry I have a few services I use from time to time. "Lingos" is good software for doing translations.

I'm looking at patterns. Danish and English are both Germanic family languages. A single word is almost always going to translate as a single word.

There are going to be exceptions especially when an exact translation does not exist. There are descriptive words like børneinstitutioner (child care) that need to be broken down into multiple words to translate to English.

About and together (tilsammen)?

Nej.

Dems or Reps, it's all the same. CFR decides the candidates and dictates the policies, including the flips and flops which are all just a part of the show to keep it interesting.

It took a staged 911 attack to justify Iraq and Afghanistan.
It took Bush's staged insanity to justify electing unknown Obama.
It took a staged collapse of the economy to justify socialization.
It will take a staged emergency to justify the president seizing dictatorial control.

Dialectics in progress.

Hegel and Pavlov would be proud.

Back when the Communist over threw the Chech gov't....several of them had risen to power in gov't in by winning elections. Then they made street rioting and dissension in the Country. That was to force the Chech people to relay on the few communist leader that had been elected. Those remain conservative and mid road leaders would be replaced by Communist.

So you have "bottom comes up and the top comes down".

Communist have always seen themselves as the 'the people' or on the bottom. Trying to overthrow the top.

Just kind of reminds you the rioting in England presently. In Greece recently. In France earlier. Why a liberal Congressman....recently said
after hearing of the Tax agreement between Obama and the REP...."they should be doing it here, as well."

Which bring us to your posts here.....which really are saying the same thing. Evil REP. Warmongering REP........so Dude does a little American need to be shed for your liberal and communist agenda? Or does a lot of American blood need to be shed for it?

House Liberal DEM are refusing to even hear the TAX agreement made between Obama and the REP. They really want this in street confrontation badly.

They know that if the taxes are not legislated, then the country basically comes to a stand still. Those FED Gov't benefits stop flowing....and soon like in England......you have mass dissent and rioting in America.

They riot in England over hikes in College tuition and other cost. Benefit that were once given, are now being charged for. People have made education...their God.....how wrong they are to do so. They say....get a degree....and then.....the world will be your oyster (assuming Visa, Master Card have not be shut down by wikileak supporters).

I quote from "Can God be Trusted?" by Thomas D. Williams, LC. ThD

In his section on 'God's Competitors' pg 44.

"For some it is their education that makes them feel secure. People who hold degrees and are competent in their fields often feel thier knowledge protects them from difficulties others face. They can get a job, so their employment security is all but guarranteed. They feel comfrontable around other people in the assurance that they are just as smart, if not smarter then they are. In fact education, confers a feeling of superiority over others, even a feeling of invincible.

While a very good thing in itself, education cannot provide for people when they are sick, or when a souse walks out. What strength of consolation can education bring when a child dies, or when reach a age where our future looks short and uncertain."

There are a few other..that Monsenior Williams has identified..that compete with God....wealth...network...ingenuity....ideologies and theories.....ain't that something?

You might recognize the name..Monsenior Williams is the Vatican Anaylst for CBS news and has work with NBC News and Britian's Sky News. He appeared in MSNBC's serise..The Ethical Edge.

Bar Stool Economics
(by David R. Kamerschen, Ph.D.
Professor of Economics, University of Georgia)

Suppose that every day, ten men go out for beer and the bill for all ten comes to $100. If they paid their bill the way we pay our taxes, it would go something like this:

* The first four men (the poorest) would pay nothing.
* The fifth would pay $1.
* The sixth would pay $3.
* The seventh would pay $7.
* The eighth would pay $12.
* The ninth would pay $18.
* The tenth man (the richest) would pay $59.

So, that’s what they decided to do. The ten men drank in the bar every day and seemed quite happy with the arrangement, until one day, the owner threw them a curve. “Since you are all such good customers,” he said, “I’m going to reduce the cost of your daily beer by $20.”
Drinks for the ten now cost just $80

The group still wanted to pay their bill the way we pay our taxes so the first four men were unaffected. They would still drink for free. But what about the other six men - the paying customers? How could they divide the $20 windfall so that everyone would get his ‘fair share?’

They realized that $20 divided by six is $3.33. But if they subtracted that from everybody’s share, then the fifth man and the sixth man would each end up being paid to drink his beer. So, the bar owner suggested that it would be fair to reduce each man’s bill by roughly the same amount, and he proceeded to work out the amounts each should pay! And so…

* The fifth man, like the first four, now paid nothing (100% savings).
* The sixth now paid $2 instead of $3 (33%savings).
* The seventh now paid $5 instead of $7 (28%savings).
* The eighth now paid $9 instead of $12 (25% savings).
* The ninth now paid $14 instead of $18 (22% savings).
* The tenth now paid $49 instead of $59 (16% savings).

Each of the six was better off than before. And the first four continued to drink for free. But once outside the restaurant, the men began to compare their savings.

“I only got a dollar out of the $20,” declared the sixth man. He pointed to the tenth man, “but he got $10!”

“Yeah, that’s right,” exclaimed the fifth man. “I only saved a dollar, too. It’s unfair that he got ten times more than I!”

“That’s true!” shouted the seventh man. “Why should he get $10 back when I got only two? The wealthy get all the breaks!”

“Wait a minute,” yelled the first four men in unison. “We didn’t get anything at all. The system exploits the poor!” The nine men surrounded the tenth and beat him up.

The next night the tenth man didn’t show up for drinks, so the nine sat down and had beers without him. But when it came time to pay the bill, they discovered something important. They didn’t have enough money between all of them for even half of the bill!

And that, boys and girls, journalists and college professors, is how our tax system works. The people who pay the highest taxes get the most benefit from a tax reduction. Tax them too much, attack them for being wealthy, and they just may not show up anymore. In fact, they might start drinking overseas where the atmosphere is somewhat friendlier.

This another fine mess you have gotten me into Ollie......

The FAA...has lost 119,000 aircraft registration and title information.
Maybe a Assage hacker has gotten into the data for a little behind the scenes....gaming playing for making it easier for terrorist and drug trafficker to acquire a aircraft.

The 119,000 aircraft documents that the Obama administration has lost are 1/3 of all register US aircraft, both private and commercial. The concern is with out correct registration document, the government will not know if a aircraft has been sold to a terrorist group or drug cartel.

The idea of bin Laden buying his own Boeing 757....does make me a bit disconcerned. I use 'disconcenred'....so as not to be like....Juan William that used the word 'concerned' and was fired by NPR.

Well Ollie....why don't we go down to the local airport and see what can be bought today. Maybe that nice new Cessna Citiation jet, you have always wanted. Will have a fake owner, that is dieing to give it away.

Heck Nancy Pelosi did not have to get the FED Gov't to give her a 15m dollar Gulfstream G-5. All she had to (like any illegal in the country now can) was find one that lost its registration to the Assange Hacker.... and make a offer that the fake owner was willing to die for.

Meanwhile, back in the jungle:

AP reports:

WASHINGTON – The Senate moved Thursday to delay a politically charged showdown vote on legislation carving out a path to legal status for foreign-born youngsters brought to this country illegally, putting off but probably not preventing the measure's demise.

Facing GOP objections, Democrats put aside the so-called Dream Act and said they'd try again to advance it before year's end. They're short of the 60 votes needed to do so, however, and critics in both parties quickly said they won't change their minds in the waning days of the Democratic-controlled Congress.

"This is mainly a political exercise rather than a serious attempt to deal with our broken immigration system," said Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas.

Sen. Ben Nelson of Nebraska, one of several Democrats who have broken with their leaders to oppose the bill, said he too would block efforts to consider it.

The Economic Legacy of the Four-Year Democratic CongressBy Yossi Gestetner
From early 2007 through the end of 2010, the Democrats had strong majorities in -- and control of -- the U.S. House of Representatives and also the U.S. Senate. Both are chambers where laws and policies that affect the economy are created and shaped.

The following table shows how the Democrat Congress performed on average during its four-year tenure vs. the average of the previous four years, 2003 through the end of 2006, when Republican were at the helm:

Issue/Topic
Democrats
Republicans

Jobs by Year - Average
-1,583,000
+1,672,000

Jobs by Month - Average
-131,916
+139,333

Unemployment Rate - Average
7.48%
5.3%

Budget Deficits - Avrage
$1.143 Trillion
$285 Billion

Dow (DJIA)
0.13% (0.53 Total)
11.04%

S & P 500
1.29%
15.02%

FDIC Bank Closures - Average
79.2
1.75

Following are the numbers in more detail. (Statistics for 2010 will need to be adjusted with the close of December. However, the general picture won't change much anyway.)

Non-farm Payroll by Year:

2003 = 87,000;

2004 = 2,047,000

2005 = 2,496,000

2006 = 2,060,000 Four-Year Total Republicans: 6,690,000 Jobs GAINED.

2007 = 1,078,000

2008 = 3,623,000 Minus

2009 = 4,740,000 Minus

2010 = 951,000 Four-Year Total Democrats: 6,334,000 Jobs LOST!

Take note that the 2009 Stimulus "could have been worse" year was indeed worse than the previous year -- by 1.1 million more jobs lost.

****

Unemployment Rate by Yearly Average (calculated by dividing in twelve the total monthly Unemployment Rate):

2003 5.99;

2004 5.54;

2005 5.08;

2006 4.61;

2007 4.61;

2008 6.37;

2009 9.28;

2010 9.66

****

Budget Deficits (The Fiscal Year starts three months into the previous colander year -- e.g., FY 2007 was drawn up during 2006 with a Republican Congress.) Numbers are in billions except when indicated otherwise.

FY 2004 = $412

FY 2005 = $318.7

FY 2006 = $247.7

FY 2007 = $162 Total Added Republican Budget Deficits: $1.140 Trillion.

FY 2008 = $454

FY 2009 = $1.416 Trillion

FY 2010 = $1.294 Trillion

FY 2011 = $1.41 Projected by the White House, July 2010 Total Added Democrats Budget Deficits: $4.574 Trillion!

NOTE: If I hear a Republican say one more time that "we lost our way" on spending, I'll be tempted to jump off the Tappan Zee Bridge in NY. I'll take a Republican Congress for the next hundred years four times faster than a Democrat Congress.grin

YES WE CAN !

Exactly! This has been a political exercise. But what for? To what end?

Nobody.....considered that the US would really move to socialism or communism. Even when Joe the Plummer dished it into canidate Obama face for the wealth sharing comment. No one was buying the idea that Obama was going to socialize this capitalist country. Some spoken us moving to socialism.

Even after Obamacare passed and the town halls erupted...
a buck was still a buck and economic vitality was there. No one went down to the local city flag pole sliced down the Star and Stripe and raised the anvil and hammer.

Till we come to this little display of international hoooliganism over eduction tuition in England. And wikileak doing a job on the confidence of people in Master Card and Visa.

Things start to fit into place. That Sherlocke Holmes likes to say...."the game is afoot".

With the Russian and Chinese position a buck is not a buck anymore. To them it has been devalued in worth. People should not have confidence in good old uncle sam any more. So the violence kicks off. People want security from the bad guys...line bin Laden and his radical followers.

Our President tells the world well in advance of what our plans are....in Iraq and Afghanistan....but that honesty with the Chinese and the Russians does not buy the buck any favors. Our Presidnet step out of space, to wave a flag for the Chinese and Russian to advance to the high ground of the moon and beyond. But again that does not buy the buck any favor. Then you have inviting the Russian in NATO while keeping the Ukriane and Belrussia out. And both into the Iran and North Korean nuclear talks.....but again the nice diplomacy is not cutting buck any slack.

These boys are into economic warfare big time. Unless Uncle Sam in Washington realizes it. Uncle Sam is going to get caught with his pants down.

A lot of the FOX pundits were saying that wikileak (with Assange in jail) is now hacker vs business or a from of economic internet battle.
You got China with our T-Bills ad debt. You got Obama saying no to offshore drilling...forcing the US buy foreign crude from the Gulf.

You talk about a prefect economic storm coming.

Anyone see the commercial.....were you have audiorium of Chinese, with a Chinese government leader speaking....and he is starts talking about ...how great countries.....ultimately were fallen by the fiscal debt they owed. That the US was the last great country to fall this way.....and now mainland China owes the US and US works for them?

China and North Korea don't want a nuclear confrontation. They would rather have the US working for them. And our President Obama has aided them nicely to that end.

I just picked up this info.

Gov't around the world have been playing hard ball to get their student loan repaid. All over the world.....every gov't has a student loan program. Default rates run very high on them. And with the economic hard times, getting worse.

But here is were this get interesting.

North Ireland and England.....have the same student loan program. Seems that when the UK was in North Ireland it was one the programs done.

Now we know that...Ireland just did the EU 89b bailout. And is going to do sever austerity measures. That would include extending gov't loan is my take. And also rate hikes to student in paying colleges. But we don't see any student rioting in Ireland. Not yet at least.

Yet in England....they had at least 10,000 in streets of London last night. Lighting gov't offices, and other building....and the Prince Charles limo scene. Everyone is saying this is trigger by the 2 to 3 time tuition rate hike. I am not buying that.

Good old England is were Assange is being held. These that were on the street last night were some of Assange 100,000 hackers buddie and others.

They knew Prince Charles was going to be there. They had hacked his computer to find his agenda. So planned a street demonstration just for him.

They had it planned so well, that they cut off his security detail from his limo. And isolated him.

My bet is that the street protest in England quickly move to Assange support activities.
