Yes, it's true that you can be fooled by a liar and a faker. It happens all the time. I think you just have to be extra careful on the internet. Or cynical like some people are and you'll never get fooled but you may lose out on a good relationship!

God uses trials and tribulations to humble you and that is not to be mistaken for Him beating you down. Everyone needs to be brought to the attention of the Lord and that's his way. Just live for Gods purpose and the answer from Him will be obvious. God will be with you for all your life if you obey Him!
You know that I am 72 and slightly wrinkly in the face but the pics never show it. My profile shot was taken last spring and it's so far away it doesn't show any at all. So don't worry about "looking old" because your new pic IS really nice!
I really like garbanzo beans and I can eat them straight from the can. My grandmother used to call them "callitos" which in Spanish means a "small corn" on the toe.
I have never had any hummus but it sounds like something I would like to eat!

I live in Southern California and weather is usually pretty mild. But once in awhile it actually dips into the freezing weather range, albeit a few days, but I really hate the weather when it does that.
I wrap up like I'm in Alaska and sometimes people chuckle at that. I simply say, "HEY, when I woke up this morning I thought I somehow got transported to Alaska!!! hee hee
