Stupid people don't necessarily feel stupid. For them it is 'normal'. Instead, they feel smart, when they get anything right. Regardless, Trump is not only stupid, he is a narcissist. Thus, he has an inflated view of himself. By itself, that would make him somewhat dangerous. Add a very powerful position to that and it results in a very dangerous situation, as we have been witnessing.
Good advice GG. So far, remdesivir is the only drug, that has shown promising results for treatment of Covid-19, decreasing recovery time by several days. The only side effect known so far, is elevated liver enzyme levels, which may indicate liver damage. There are several trials being conducted regarding this anti-viral for treatment of Covid-19.
You are welcome LL. Again, thanks for helping others with their medical needs. I wish more on here had much more respect for you and others who dedicate their life to helping people. Unfortunately, decency is rare in some places.
I don't want an economic collapse. You're hallucinating, or you just want to paint it that way. But, unlike you, I'm not going to push fiction. Trump inherited the Obama recovery. Until Trump's horrible handling of the pandemic. the market hadn't really changed much on a percentage basis, since the Obama years. Indeed, the market has done worse than when Obama was in office, if you look at things as a percent increase and all 8 of Obama's year. Indeed, Obama's first 4 years will blows away Trump's first 4 years.
Nonetheless, this table only includes Trump's first 3 1/4 years, so it doesn't include the recent market collapse. But, check out the data for each term for each president;
x-Donald Trump (3 yrs) 2017- 48.7% Barack Obama 2013-17 44.6% Barack Obama 2009-13 64.8% George W. Bush 2005-09 -21.4% George W. Bush 2001-05 -0.4% Bill Clinton 1997-01 54.9% Bill Clinton 1993-97 109.9% George H.W. Bush 1989-93 45.4% Ronald Reagan 1985-89 82.4% Ronald Reagan 1981-85 26.4% Jimmy Carter 1977-81 0.2%
Most Americans wanted a different leader BEFORE he got elected. It's not like he won the popular vote. It's just an antiquated system, that was designed to make sure 1 state (of only a few back then) could not routinely decide elections. Now that there are 50 (plus Puerto Rico) it really should be modified more towards the popular vote to protect us from such a danger as what has happened with Trump (and GWB) again.
jac - I knew, that was the nuance you meant, but left out of your previous statement, which likely confused others. There are criteria in the legal system to judge an insanity plea. There are several on here, that may be considered insane by the majority, but would fail to successfully defend such a plea in court.
That's the problem with all lies. That's why I have objected to them for years on here with a few others.
I also agree with you about D. He made some sort of change for the worst recently. I was somewhat shocked.
Really, I wasn't being frivolous on this blog. I was being sincere. Sorry if the somehow misled you. I just grinned, that I gave the reader a choice, as inconsequential as it was.
The police chief on Minneapolis, states that the other officers present were "complicit" and "fired". I am guessing, that they will eventually be charged, after the evidence is thoroughly gone over for each individual to determine the more accurate level of that "complicit" behavior.
In the meantime, Adolf Trump is hiding in a "bunker" due to the protesters in DC.
In addition NYC mayor Bill DiBlasio's 25 year old daughter was arrested tonight protesting in NY screaming at police. She did not throw anything.
Both Mayor DiBlasio and NY Governor Cuomo are unified in expressing, that a law shielding police officers from prior allegations needs to be changed to help inspire public trust.
I am in favor of the truth and stand against lies. However, while growing up (and even later in life), my sister repeatedly has not taken that stance, and she is my only sibling. Thus, I can't fully relate to the title.
