That's another issue. This is about something, that should be more fundamental, the right to not be killed by police just because of the color of your skin. This is about basic legal justice.
Justice for those who do not have justice, usually doesn't come easy. Unfortunately, there are those, who are extremely reluctant to give up their advantage. They would rather keep others depressed than be fair. That's why the riots eventually erupt. It isn't until those many with advantage fear loss, that they will actually do something about it. When someone with better understanding, and wanting things fairer, is elected, things will get better.
c - I think it's more a protest against incompetent leadership and lots of unnecessary deaths. Most of those 180,000+ were not in nursing homes. His lies, his corruption, his prejudice, his extreme narcissism, and his incompetence have resulted in the worst US presidency in history. kp - no one wants to get completely rid of the police. Instead, they want to decrease the type of calls that police get and divide those into police calls and other specialist calls for people who have better training to handle other situations. They also want more transparency for officers that have been disciplined. They also don't want officers unnecessarily killing people. You can't tell me, that things can't be improved. I think it is reasonable to improve an ongoing problem.
And one of the worst things, is that the idiot currently in the oval office, actually trusts what the misleading 'news' casters on FOX News says over the intelligence agencies at his disposal.
You are truly totally clueless. They have been caught so many times using video from other countries, as happening in the USA. Also using video from previous years, as happening now. They have even used altered video. Their whole purpose is not to broadcast accurate information. It is to anger the viewer. Because an angry viewer is motivated to stay tuned (to the nonsense) and that's what brings in $$$ from advertisers. Viewers of FOX news are being manipulated and used to enrich the station. Yes, all news stations get paid the same way. But the other ones don't purposefully broadcast lies & deception in an effort to anger the viewers.
Back when I used to teach & do research at a university, I used to buy & sell a lot of biomedical stocks and tech stocks and did well. However, in the past decade I have just let it ride for the most part on small cap mutual funds and have done OK effortlessly.
If Trump gets re-elected (hopefully not), I am researching in advance various guaranteed funds, as I would expect a lot more volatility due to his inept leadership, as we have already seen during the last 3 years. If he's elected, I am making a sizable shift into a more guaranteed situation.

Um... I'll be lifting heavy weights there in about 17 different exercises. Thankfully, that won't be in an elevator. I get LOTS of aerobic exercise playing softball and also in other activities with a couple of ex-girlfriends.
I will be wearing a mask, as will anyone who wants to use the gym, or they will be out on their butt. I will get plenty of oxygen. However, if I feel light headed, I will go outside and take the mask off there. I will also be wearing rubber surgical gloves. But, not in the pool.

While chess has a finite number of moves at any point, there are much greater choices in life. In chess 2 people are pitted against each other. Not necessarily in life. Life is much more complex and everyone eventually loses in the endgame.
